Labels without multiple exposure-duration thresholds have one window that turns black permanently when your surface heats to the temperature point. Store in a cool, dry place below 64° F with less than 50% humidity.

Labels with multiple exposure-duration thresholds have three windows that turn red permanently when your surface heats to the temperature point for brief, moderate, and prolonged periods of time. They won’t begin to monitor temperature changes until you pull their activation tab. Before activating, place them in an environment at least 9° F (5° C) below their temperature point for 30 minutes.

Temperature-Indicating "Hot" Labels

Avoid injury with these self-adhesive labels that indicate when pipes, ovens, and other machinery are too hot to touch. When your surface heats to the temperature point, these black labels display a red graphic with a red message “hot.” When the surface cools, the graphic and message disappear. Store at in a dry place at 70° F with less than 50% humidity. Shelf life is one year from date of shipment.

Temperature-Indicating Barcode Labels

Confirm your product wasn’t too hot or cold throughout shipping and storage. With just a scan from your barcode reader or smartphone, these labels inform you whether your packaging surpassed the temperature point. Once they're past the point for at least two hours, the barcode lines fill in to give you a unique code. The code changes again at four hours, so you know how long your product has been exposed. A compatible app shows you the results. You can also integrate them into your existing scanning system to log a record. Scan once upon your product's arrival or implement multiple scans along your supply chain to catch storage errors as they occur.

For accurate monitoring, keep them somewhere at least 6° F below their temperature point for two hours before use. They won’t begin monitoring temperature until you pull their tab.

Choose a temperature point that suits your application. 32° F labels are ideal for frozen products. Use 43° F labels for refrigerated products. 46° F labels are often used to monitor lab samples. 77° F labels are typically used for products best kept at room temperatures, such as adhesives.
