Vibration-Resistant 22 mm Panel-Mount Lever Switches

Prevent accidental actuation from bumps—these switches require you to grip and twist the lever to turn the switch. The contact block and actuator are all one piece, so they won’t separate in high-vibration applications. Install them in a standard panel cutout.

Corrosion-Resistant Washdown Pendant Switches
Control cranes and other mobile machinery in dirty, outdoor, and wet environments without damaging your switch. The plastic housing is rated NEMA 4X to protect the switch interior from dust, sprayed water, and ice. They are also rated NEMA 12 for keeping out oil and other liquid drips. All of these switches can be wired to prevent two buttons from operating at the same time.
Two-speed switches have staged contacts. For slow speed, press the button halfway down to close the first contact. For high speed, push it all the way to close the second contact.
Use labels to replace worn stickers or change the function of a button. Packs include 28 commonly used functions, such as up, down, start, and stop.

Vibration-Resistant 22 mm Panel-Mount Key Switches

To prevent accidental actuation and limit access to sensitive equipment, these switches require a key to turn circuits on or off. The contact block and actuator are all one piece, so they won’t separate in high-vibration applications. Install them in a standard panel cutout. They’re keyed alike, so they will all open with the same key.

Fingerprint Switches

Use fingerprints to confirm the identity of personnel before granting access to secure areas or equipment. Switches light up green to indicate that they have accepted the fingerprint and are sending an output signal. The front faces of the switches meet NEMA 12 and IP65. The rear faces of the switches meet IP20.
Covers (sold separately) have an adhesive-back hinge, so you can stick them on to your switch. Keep the cover flipped down to protect the switch’s sensor from dust and debris.

Harsh Environment DC Universal-Object Proximity Switches

Micro
M12 Plug
Rated NEMA 6P, 12, IP68 and IP69K, these switches protect against corrosion and high-pressure, high-temperature washdowns. Also known as capacitive proximity switches, they remotely sense both metallic and nonmetallic objects but their strength is in sensing materials such as plastic, ceramic, and clear targets. They’re often used with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and produce PNP or NPN signal output. To determine the signal output of a switch you are replacing, use Testers for Proximity and Photoelectric Switches (not included). They mount flush with the surface of any material, including metal, and are also known as embeddable or shielded switches. The 4-pole Micro M12 plug connects to cables with sockets (sold separately), allowing you to quickly connect and disconnect the switch.
Also available: If you don’t see the switch you need, please select 6693T999 and specify manufacturer and manufacturer part number.

Washdown Enclosed Motor Switches

Housing, Lockout,
and Power Indicator
Install these switches in areas with oil, coolant, corrosive chemicals, and regular washdowns. They're rated IP69K and NEMA 4X and 12 or 12K. Since they’re already protected inside a housing, you can mount them to a wall if there’s no space left in your electrical panel. You need to grip and twist the lever to actuate, so they won’t accidentally turn on or off if something bumps into them. To lock them in the off position, attach a padlock (not included) to the lever. Use these switches to turn motors on and off, or with other circuits such as lighting and electric heat circuits. They do not provide overload protection.
Switches with a plastic housing can be turned into a handheld control for moving around your workstation by attaching a cord and cord grip. The housing is PBT polyester, so it won’t swell in moist environments.
Switches with a power indicator use LED lights to show the status of power flowing into the switch and power flowing from the switch to your motor. This can help you check for issues, such as a welded contact or phase loss, without having to open the housing.

Enclosed Heavy Duty Build-Your-Own Manual Motor Starters
Combine a switch with a thermal overload element to build a starter that can handle high-current-rated motors. All are housed in a durable steel enclosure. They’re also known as NEMA starters.
NEMA 12 rated switches are protected from oil/coolant dripping.
Thermal overload elements shut motors off if current exceeds the full-load current rating. Three elements are required. To Order: Please specify the full-load current rating of your motor. If the full-load current rating is not shown on the motor’s faceplate, estimate the current rating (given the motor’s horsepower and voltage).

Enclosed Disconnect Switches
Cut power and keep it isolated to prevent equipment from starting up during inspection and maintenance. These switches are housed in a protective enclosure that resists denting, chipping, and cracking. Mount them to the wall when you run out of space in an electrical panel.
Switches with lockout secure in the off position with a padlock with a maximum shackle diameter of 5/16” (not included).
Photovoltaic switches can be used with photovoltaic cells which convert sunlight into electricity.
Add auxiliary contact blocks to send a signal or connect to another device, such as an alarm or indicating light.
Use additional power poles to control more than three circuits. Add neutral poles to open and close the neutral leg of a three phase system.

Manual Override Enclosure Disconnect Switches
Keep power running while you access your enclosure. Unlike standard enclosure disconnect switches, which shut off power as you open your enclosure, these have an override function. Engaging the override allows you to take voltage reading, troubleshoot an error code, or fine tune the speed of your line. When the override is off, these work like a standard disconnect switch—a safety interlock prevents your enclosure from opening when power is on. The interlock also prevents the switch from turning on when the door is already open. Cut the shaft to fit your enclosure. All have a lockout so you can secure them in the off position with a padlock (not included).
Add auxiliary contact blocks to send a signal or connect to another device, such as an alarm or indicating light.
Use additional power poles to control more than three circuits. Add neutral poles to open and close the neutral leg of a three-phase system.
Add junction blocks to connect a ground wire.

Noncontact Level Switches for Conductive Liquids
Measure the level of conductive liquids without drilling a hole in your tank—these switches mount to the outside of the tank and track the capacitance between them and the tank’s contents. Use them on nonconductive plastic or glass wall tanks; they’re not compatible with metal tanks. They automatically adapt to your tank’s wall thickness, making them ready to use. These switches only respond when the liquid reaches the desired level, so foam and residue on the top of the liquid won’t trigger them early. For even more challenging setups, such as those with thick, sticky fluids, or if your tank has walls as thick as 10 mm, you can teach these switches to avoid false detections. All have LED indicators to show their power and output status.
Made of plastic, their body is chemical resistant and NEMA and IP rated, so it keeps out dust and dirt, as well as drips of oil and jets of hot water. UL listed, C-UL listed, and CE marked, they meet U.S., Canadian, and European Union safety standards.
Mount these switches directly on your sight glass using their adhesive back or use the included mounting bracket if you’ll need to remove them frequently. They also include foam pads for mounting them using straps around the outside of your tank.
PNP switches communicate with your system by sending a positive signal. NPN switches send a negative signal to communicate with your system.
Switches with an M8 4-pin connection have a standard plug that’s easy to connect. Switches with wire leads need to be hardwired, so use them in applications where you won’t move them often.
