Friction-Grip Stem Casters with Rubber Wheels for Wire Shelving
Also known as universal casters, press-fit these casters into standard 1" OD wire shelving posts and friction on their stem's grip ring holds them in place. Wheels have a soft rubber tread for shock resistance with a hard polypropylene core for strength. Use them on smooth or rough surfaces. Flanged-sleeve wheel bearings prevent wear to the wheel bore. Casters have shielded double-ball swivel bearings for the smoothest swiveling and protection from dust and debris.
Casters with wheel brake apply pressure to the wheel to stop movement with a press of the foot pedal.

Casters have shielded double-ball swivel bearings for the smoothest swiveling and protection from dust and debris.

Stem Casters with Mounting Holes
The stem on these casters fits into square tubing and can also be bolted to angle iron.
Tread-on-core wheels have a polypropylene core that is harder than the tread, balancing strength with cushioning.
Rubber wheels are shock absorbing and provide good traction on rough surfaces. Polyurethane wheels combine the abrasion resistance of plastic with the shock-absorbing qualities of rubber. They can be used on smooth and rough floors and in areas with debris. Casters with total lock brake the wheel and lock the swivel with one press of the foot pedal.
Sleeve and flanged-sleeve wheel bearings prevent wear to the wheel bore but don't roll as easily as other bearings. Ball bearings are the easiest to roll.
Casters have double-ball swivel bearings for the smoothest swiveling.
