Wire with Polyethylene Outer Insulation: -40° to 190° F
Install this copper wire in conduit and cable trays in commercial and industrial buildings. It's also known as branch circuit wire. The outer jacket is designed to be installed without applying pulling lubricant.
Stranded wire is flexible, so it’s pliable enough to be pulled around corners. Wire with a nylon outer insulation resists oil and water. THHN wire can be used in dry or damp locations where wire is exposed to condensation or moisture, such as a basement. THWN and THWN-2 wire can be used in both wet and dry environments.
Flame rated VW-1 wire meets requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material.
