Filter Lenses for Welding Helmets and Goggles
Replace the filter lens on your welding helmet or goggles. These lenses reduce glare and filter out harmful infrared radiation. They are available in shade numbers 4 through 14.
Use green lenses for welding applications. They increase visual contrast so you can see the weld pool without making the environment too dark.
Use cobalt blue lenses for metalworking applications such as torching and brazing. They enhance visibility by filtering out intense light produced during metalworking. Do not use for welding applications.

Auto-Darkening Filter Lenses for Welding Helmets and Goggles
These lenses automatically switch from light to dark the instant you start welding. They operate on solar power, so there are no batteries to change.
Multiple-shade lenses allow you to change shade number with the press of a button.

Colored Filter Lenses for Welding Helmets and Goggles
Improve visibility for more accurate welds than standard welding lenses. These lenses reduce glare and block certain colors to make it less painful to look at your weld. Only use these lenses in combination with standard green lenses in your welding helmet. Do not use them in place of standard welding lenses.
Blue lenses block yellow and orange light and improve depth perception. They’re often used for carbon steel or pipe welding.
Magenta lenses block yellow light and flares better than green and blue welding filters. They are commonly used when welding stainless steel.

Filter Lens Covers for Welding Helmets and Goggles
Protect filter lenses from scratches and weld spatter with these clear covers. For helmets with flip-up lenses, a gasket (sold separately) is required for a proper seal between a 2" Ht. × 4 1/4" Wd. filter lens and the lens cover.

Filter Lenses for Laser Welding Helmets and Goggles
Replace scratched lenses in your laser welding helmet or goggles. These lenses keep harmful UV and infrared light from damaging your eyes. Do not use with regular welding helmets or goggles.
Optical density indicates how much light a lens absorbs at a specific wavelength. The higher the density, the more UV, infrared, and visible light is blocked. To meet ANSI Z136.1 standards for protection from lasers, factor the strength of your laser. Powerful, Class 4 lasers require an optical density of 5 or higher.
Visible light is the percentage of visible light that passes through the lens. The lower the percentage, the more light is blocked.
