    Welding Antispatter

Antispatter resists heat and keeps weld spatter from sticking to contact tips, nozzles, and welding accessories. They cannot be sold to the listed areas due to import regulations.
    Spray On

Water Based—Water-based spray-on antispatter is nonflammable and a safer alternative to traditional oil-based antispatter.
Ceramic Based—Ceramic-based spray-on antispatter lasts up to 8 hours, so you won’t have to stop welding to reapply.

Dip-in antispatter is applied by dunking your MIG gun nozzle into the container. It’s also known as tip dip.
Petroleum Based—Petroleum-based dip-in antispatter is good for use on hot MIG guns.
Water Based—Water-based dip-in antispatter can be used on hot or cold MIG guns. It lasts 3-4 times longer than petroleum-based dip-in antispatter.

    Fiberglass Weld-Backing Tape

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Weld-Backing Tape. Fiberglass Weld-Backing Tape.
Stick this flexible tape to the back of welding seams to contain spatter and prevent oxygen, water vapor, and other gases from weakening the weld. Also known as back purge tape, it’s used for welding flat sheets, large tanks, and other applications where filling the space behind the seam with purge gas is difficult or expensive. Form the fiberglass spine into a small ridge over the weld joint, then press the adhesive foil down on each side. Compatible with MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
For 200 amp Maximum Current—Apply tape for 200 amp maximum current to thin welds on aluminum, cast iron, nickel and copper alloys, and steel.
For 600 amp Maximum Current—Use tape for 600 amp maximum current to shield thick welds on dense metals, such as stainless steel.
