Titanium Hex Weld Nuts
When you need a high strength-to-weight ratio and extreme corrosion resistance, choose these titanium weld nuts. They’re 40% lighter than steel and stand up to salt water, acids, and chemicals. Weld them onto titanium surfaces to add strong, permanent threads. Projections on the base concentrate your weld and create room for heat to dissipate, protecting the threads from deforming. The threads are also protected from weld spatter thanks to the collar pilot, which guides the nut into the hole and holds it in place.
Nuts that meet ASME B1.1 comply with dimensional specifications for threaded fasteners. Nuts that meet DIN 929 comply with dimensional standards for hex-shaped weld nuts.
