Service Entrance Weatherheads
Create a connection point to route overhead service wire and cable from utility poles to electrical meters, bringing power to buildings. Protected by a rounded hood and plastic insulators in unused routing holes, these weatherheads meet NEMA 3R for protection from falling rain, sleet, snow, and dirt, as well as light splashing. Create a weatherproof entry point into a building for service cables and telephone lines—these kits have all the supplies you need. They meet NEMA 3R for protection from falling rain, sleet, snow, and dirt. They also handle light splashing from the side. The weatherhead has a rounded hood and plastic insulators in its routing holes to protect your wiring from water. Made of aluminum, it resists corrosion. It’s also lightweight, so it’s easy to install. To keep your roof watertight, the roof flashing directs water away from the point your conduit enters.
The included weatherhead, wire holders, and conduit supports meet UL safety standards for conduit, tubing, and cable fittings.
