Extra-Flexible Weather-Resistant Coated
Corrosion-Resistant Wire Rope—Not for Lifting

More wires per strand than other wire rope provides the flexibility required for repeat bending over drums and pulleys and the stainless steel wire rope withstands outdoor and washdown applications. Coated with vinyl, this wire rope resists UV rays better than nylon-coated wire rope. Individual wire strands are preformed to maintain their shape and prevent rope from unraveling when cut.
Note: When attaching fittings to coated rope, the coating must be removed from the installation area.

Padlock Cables

Secure tools and equipment with any style of padlock. Made of strong, flexible steel, this cable is easy to wrap around and through objects. It’s vinyl coated, so it stands up to weather and won’t scratch what it’s wrapped around. With longer length options than cable locks and flexible shackle locks, they are a great fit for securing large equipment such as forklifts or scissor lifts.
Coiled cable returns to a compact coil after use for easy storage and transportation.
Straight cable is more flexible than coiled cable.
Braided cable is more flexible than wire rope cable. It's also harder to cut through.

Resettable Combination Cable Locks

No more misplaced keys—these resettable cable locks open with a combination. Use them to secure tools, gates, and irregularly shaped objects. The cable has a weather-resistant vinyl coating that protects equipment from scratches. You can set your own combination and change it any time.

Adjustable-Length Cable Locks

For a snug fit around objects of different sizes and shapes, adjust the cinching collar on these locks to lengthen or shorten the cable. Because you can adjust the length, there’s no need to loop the cable around several times. Made of strong, flexible braided steel, the cable easily bends around or through equipment and tools. It’s coated with vinyl, so it stands up to weather and won’t scratch what it’s wrapped around.
Choose these locks if you need ones that each open with a different key. The attached pin tumbler lock is more difficult to pick than a wafer lock.

Cable Locks

Wrap around tools and equipment to prevent theft—no need for a padlock and cable. These locks have a strong, flexible steel cable attached. They’re difficult to pick, since they lock with a pin tumbler. For extra security, they’re also keyed differently, so you can’t open two of these locks with the same key. Their cable is vinyl coated to resist scratching and rusting in the rain.
Locks with a 5/16″ or 3/8″ cable diameter are lighter in weight and more flexible than locks with a thicker cable. Locks with a 5/8″ cable diameter are stronger and resist cuts better than locks with a thinner cable.

Adjustable-Length Keyed Alike Cable Locks

Similar to cable locks, except this lock has a cinching collar that allows you to tighten and loosen the cable around equipment. Choose this lock if you need several locks that open with the same key.
The body is weather-resistant aluminum. The cable has a vinyl coating to prevent scratches and add weather resistance.

Universal Valve Lockouts

Lock out most valves in your facility with just one device. These lockouts clamp onto a variety of valve handwheels and handles. They’re great for large levers, T-handles, wheels with odd shapes and sizes, and other handles that are hard to secure with specialized lockouts. However, they’re slower to install than specialized lockouts—you’ll have to configure different attachments depending on your handle type. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of hazardous energy.
To install, first turn your handle to the off position. After assembling your lockout with all necessary attachments, clamp the body to your handle and turn the lockout wheel to tighten. Add a padlock to prevent removal of the lockout.
Each lockout comes with a blocking arm. Wedge the arm against a pipe or other surface in the direction the handle turns in—this will block its movement. If your handle turns in either direction, attach an additional blocking arm (sold separately).
For valve handles that turn with a squeeze trigger, clamp the lockout body to the handle so it wedges between the handle and the trigger.
For handwheels, clamp the lockout body to the edge of the wheel and run the included cable through the spokes and around a nearby pipe or surface. Then pull the cable through the lockout body for a tight hold.
Metal cable lasts longer than nylon cable. A vinyl coating protects it from rust and prevents it from scuffing surfaces.
