Threaded On/Off Valves
Use these valves in general purpose applications such as those with water, oil, air, and inert gas.
Plated brass valves are more corrosion resistant than plain brass or bronze valves.
316 stainless steel valves have the best corrosion resistance.
Lockable handles can be fixed in place using a padlock (not included).
Short lever handles, lockable oval handles, and T-handles resist accidental movement when snagged or bumped.
Full-port valves do not restrict flow.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Threaded Gradual On/Off Valves
Also known as gate valves, these gradually open and close to prevent system damage from suddenly starting and stopping flow.
Wheel handles open and close with multiple turns, providing more controlled, shock-resistant flow than pull handles.
Pull handles open and close faster than wheel handles.
Nonrising stems stay in the same position whether the valve is open or closed. Valves with nonrising stems are often used underground and in low-clearance locations.
Rising stems lift as the valve opens and lower as the valve closes to provide a visual indication of whether flow is on or off. The stem is isolated from the process media for a longer service life than valves with a nonrising stem.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Rising Stem, and
Four Bolt Holes
Bolt these valves to flanges. They gradually open and close to prevent system damage from suddenly starting and stopping flow.
Epoxy-coated cast iron valves are more corrosion resistant than plain cast iron or steel valves.
Wheel handles open and close with multiple turns, providing more controlled, shock-resistant flow than pull handles.
Nonrising stems stay in the same position whether the valve is open or closed. Valves with nonrising stems are often used underground and in other low-clearance locations.

Flanged Flow-Adjustment Valves
Also known as butterfly valves, these bolt to flanges for adjusting and regulating flow in flanged pipelines.
Wafer valves must be sandwiched between two flanges; they have tabs or unthreaded holes to help align the valve between the flanges.
Lug valves can be sandwiched between two flanges or bolted directly to a single flange for servicing one end of the pipeline without depressurizing the other side. They have threaded flange holes with a hole pattern that matches ANSI flanges of the same pipe size.
Lockable lever handles can be fixed in place with a padlock (not included).
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Threaded Balancing Valves
- Valve Type: Ball
- For Use With: Water
- Seal Material: EPDM Rubber
- Specifications Met: CSA Certified
Thread these balancing valves onto pipe—they help you measure the pressure differential across the valve as well as change the flow rate to components in your system. Sometimes called circuit setters, they’re used in HVAC systems and other systems that require even flow distribution. To see what percentage they’re open, there’s an arrow on these valves that’s connected to their measuring plate. Readout ports on both sides let you attach flow measurement tools, such as pressure gauges and probes, which help you track how much the valves reduce flow. Open these valves to a saved percentage by using their memory shutoff function.

Diverting Valves with Fire-Fighting Hose Fittings
- Valve Type: Ball
- For Use With: Water
- Seal Material: Buna-N Rubber
Control the flow of water in two directions from a single source—these diverting valves have two balls and handles for independent operation of each outlet. They can direct flow to one side outlet at full capacity while shutting off flow to the second side outlet, direct flow to both side outlets at reduced capacity, or shut off flow to both side outlets. Valves have a brass body for good corrosion resistance. They are for use with fire-fighting hose.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.
Male NPSH (National Pipe Straight Hose) threads are compatible with female NPSH threads. Female NPSH threads are compatible with male NPSH, NPT, NPTF, and NPSM threads.
