Also known as cylinder speed controls, flow control valves let you control the extension or retraction speed of your air cylinder. They regulate airflow as it passes from the valve's inlet to its outlet. Air flows freely in the opposite direction.

Snap-Shut Threaded On/Off Valves
For applications that require intermittent operation, such as spraying and washing, push or pull the lever on these valves to start flow. They spring closed when the lever is released.
Zinc valves are good for low-pressure applications. Use them as a control valve for tools such as blow guns and tire-changing machines.
Push-lever valves are commonly used in car wash systems. However, you can’t use them as blow guns.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Also known as pinch valves, these press down on the outside of tubing to adjust flow without contacting the process media. They can be used with any media that’s chemically compatible with your tubing.
Valves with an open body provide easy access to tubing for maintenance or replacement.
Valves with a closed body securely hold tubing in place.
Two-Speed Two-Action Air Directional Control Valves
Often used to extend and then retract a cylinder at different speeds, these valves create two actions and have two exhaust ports. They direct airflow from the inlet to your equipment and exhaust return airflow to create motion. Also known as 4-way and 5/2 valves.
Valves with threaded exhaust connection type allow you to control the speed of each action by attaching a flow control valve to each exhaust port.
Valves with hand return actuation stay actuated and return to their original position only when you move the actuator again.

Single-Action Air Directional Control Valves
Manually control these valves by pushing or turning the actuator. Also known as 3-way or 3/2 valves, they create one action, such as extending a cylinder. They direct airflow from the inlet to your equipment and exhaust return airflow to create motion. In the off position, they exhaust air pressure from the system, allowing equipment to reset so the action can be repeated.
Normally closed valves block airflow until actuated. Valves that are both normally closed and normally open can be installed to block airflow, or allow air to flow until actuated.
Valves with hand return actuation stay actuated and go back to their starting position only when you move the actuator again. Valves with spring return actuation go back to their starting position as soon as you release the actuator.

Modular Air Directional Control Valves with Air Manifolds
Mount valves to a single-station base or to a manifold, which allows a single pressure source for multiple valves, then add or remove valves as your needs change. Valves with the same style can be used on the same manifold. For example, you can put a Style B, 2-position, spring-return valve and a Style B, 3-position, solenoid-return valve on the same manifold.
4-way valves create two actions, such as extending and retracting a double-acting cylinder.
5/3 (closed center) valves close all ports in the off position to stop equipment in a locked position with air pressure holding it in place. 5/3 (exhaust center) valves exhaust all air pressure in the off position, allowing equipment to return to the neutral position. 5/3 (pressure center) valves create two actions at the same time, such as extending two single-acting cylinders at once.
Valves with spring return actuation go back to their original position when voltage is removed. Valves with electric (solenoid) return actuation go back to their original position when voltage moves from the first solenoid to the second solenoid.

Slow-Start Air Flow Control Valves
Prevent damage to your equipment by limiting startup airflow and then gradually raising the airflow rate to operating levels. These valves adjust the volume of air exiting an air cylinder (meter out) to control the speed of air-powered equipment. They control flow in one direction; air flows freely in the opposite direction. For the best control, mount them as close to the cylinder as possible to minimize the length of tubing between the cylinder and the valve.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is a measurement that indicates how much airflow can pass through a valve.

Air-Operated Air On/Off Valves
Also known as blocking valves, these valves are activated by an air signal to turn equipment on and off. They allow airflow when an air signal is applied to the air pilot. When the air supply is removed, the valve closes, trapping air in the system.
Valves with push-to-connect ports are for use with plastic or soft metal tubing. Insert tubing into the port.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is a measurement that indicates how much airflow can pass through a valve. When selecting between valves with the same port size, choose the valve with the higher flow coefficient to ensure it provides enough airflow to operate your system.

Elbow Air-Exhaust Control Valves

The 90° elbow shape allows you to install these valves in tight spaces. They quickly vent exhaust air to the atmosphere or divert it to another place in your system to speed up the movement of air cylinders. Also known as quick exhaust valves.
NPTF (Dryseal) threads are compatible with NPT threads.

Self-Closing Drum Faucets
Push or pull the faucet handle to open; release the handle and the faucet automatically shuts off. These faucets are primarily used on drums, but can also be used on tanks, carboys, and other containers.
In case of fire, faucets with a flame arrester prevent flashback into the drum.

Clamp-On Air Conditioner Service Valves
Tap into refrigerant lines to drain and fill your system. These valves are self-piercing and can be installed without drilling a hole into the line. A valve cap is included.
Style 2 has a removable core to provide unobstructed flow for your refrigerant once the core is removed.
Replacement cores and core kits are sold separately. The kits include a core remover with four valve cores.
