Gasketing for Vacuum Workholding Plates
For applications requiring only part of the vacuum plate surface, use gasketing to seal off the in-use area. Cut to length. Choose the cross-section shape recommended by your vacuum workholding system manufacturer to ensure the best performance.

Rings for Claw-Clamp and Bolt-Together
High-Vacuum Fittings for Stainless Steel Tubing
- For Use With: Air
- Max. Temperature: 400° F
- Tubing: Use with 304/304L Stainless Steel or 316/316L Stainless Steel
Create airtight seals in high-vacuum systems by placing these rings between two claw-clamp (ISO-K) or bolt-together (ISO-F) fittings. They contain a Viton® fluoroelastomer O-ring—when you clamp or bolt your fittings together, the O-ring compresses to establish the seal.

High-Vacuum Fluoroelastomer O-Rings
These O-rings are heat-treated, cleaned, and double-bagged in an ISO Class 5 (Fed. Std. Class 100) clean room for use in high-vacuum systems. Also known as baked O-rings, they are heated to 300° F to remove trapped air, gases, and other impurities that can escape and contaminate a vacuum system. Made of fluoroelastomer, these O-rings won’t degrade when exposed to chemicals such as benzene, butyl alcohol, and ethylene glycol. They have a round profile and are made to standard SAE AS568 sizes.

Vacuum Leak Sealants
Seal leaks on vacuum systems and components.
Epoxy resin sealants, also known as Torr Seals, form a rigid bond.
Bentonite/petrolatum sealants, also known as Apiezon sealants, form a flexible, non-hardening seal that’s easy to remove and reposition.

Low-Outgassing Silicone Sealants
Compliant with ASTM E-595, these sealants produce almost no volatile materials in a vacuum. They’re made of silicone, so they’re RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing).
Elongation indicates flexibility—the higher the value is, the more a sealant can stretch.
