These slings are reinforced for additional abrasion resistance. Also known as Type 4 slings, the eyes are turned 90° so they can form a choker configuration more easily than with flat-eye slings. Lightweight and flexible, web slings are less likely than other slings to mar, scratch, or dent fragile loads. They include a tag that shows the material, length, and capacities in each configuration.
Slings with Cordura outer strips are also known as Cordura-reinforced slings. They have a strips of ultra-abrasion-resistant nylon sewn on each side.
Nylon slings stretch more than polyester, minimizing shock to the load. They withstand greasy conditions.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.
