The corrugated design allows this Teflon® FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) tubing to extend and compress just like an accordion. It is flexible and bends easily without kinking. Extreme-Temperature Water Hose

Heat-Reflective Corrugated Sleeving
Made of aluminum with a fiberglass liner, this sleeving reflects heat away from contents and withstands temperatures up to 900° F to protect against internal and external sources of heat. Often used to protect wire and cable in vehicle engines, it resists antifreeze, brake fluid, gasoline, and oil. The corrugated construction gives it impact and abrasion resistance similar to conduit, but with more flexibility. It holds its shape when bent.
