This premium-grade tubing is polished to a high-luster finish to reduce particle buildup and allow for easy cleaning. It has excellent corrosion resistance. Tubing with interior smoothness of 20 Ra is capped, put in a plastic sleeve, then sealed in a cardboard tube. Tubing with interior smoothness of 15 Ra comes in a plastic sleeve. Tubing comes with a traceable lot number and material test report.

Seamless tubing is smoother and stronger than welded tubing and can be flared without splitting. Welded tubing is more economical than seamless tubing; it has a smoothed weld bead on the inside.

These lids are FDA compliant, so they keep contaminants from entering your line and also are approved for direct contact with food if they break off and fall in. Manufactured free of contaminants and allergens, all are BPA-, latex-, and phthalate-free. They’re also TSE/BSE compliant, meaning they’ve never come into contact with any animal products.

The 15 Ra finish on the interior of these fittings creates an ultra-smooth surface. Also known as ultra-high-purity fittings, they are packed in a Class 100 clean room to prevent contamination. They are commonly used in semiconductor applications. Fittings use a metal gasket (sold separately), which generates fewer particles than a rubber gasket and creates a strong seal in high-pressure and high-vacuum applications.
