Metal Barbed Hose Fittings for Air and Water
Slide the barbed end into rubber hose and secure with the appropriate clamp or crimp-on hose ferrule.
Brass fittings are softer than other metal fittings, so they’re easier to thread together. Plain brass fittings have good corrosion resistance. Fittings that swivel until tightened rotate 360° for easy installation. Fittings with a threaded end are also known as hose nipples.
NPSH (National Pipe Straight Hose) female threads are compatible with male NPT, NPTF, and NPSM threads.

Metal Garden Hose Fittings for Drinking Water
These fittings meet NSF/ANSI Standard 61 for drinking water. Connect them to rubber or plastic garden hose for a variety of water supply applications. Fittings are brass for good corrosion resistance.
Fittings that swivel until tightened rotate 360° for easy installation.
Fittings with a barbed end are also known as hose menders and splicers. Use them to connect lengths of hose or to repair damaged hose. To connect, slide the barbed end into rubber or plastic hose and secure with a clamp.

Fire-Fighting Hose Fittings
Connect these fittings to fire hydrants and washdown equipment. Made of brass, they have good corrosion resistance. Some have a hex in the middle so you can tighten them with a wrench.
NH/NST (National Hose/National Standard) threads are only compatible with other NH/NST threads. Male NPSH (National Pipe Straight Hose) threads are compatible with female NPSH threads. Female NPSH threads are compatible with male NPSH, NPT, NPTF, and NPSM threads.

Rocker-Lug Fire-Fighting Hose Fittings
The rocker lugs on these fittings allow for easy gripping, so you can quickly connect to fire hydrants and washdown equipment. Tighten with a hook-style spanner wrench (sold separately).
Fittings that swivel until tightened rotate to help prevent kinking during installation.
NH/NST (National Hose/National Standard) threads are only compatible with other NH/NST threads. Male NPSH (National Pipe Straight Hose) threads are compatible with female NPSH threads. Female NPSH threads are compatible with male NPSH, NPT, NPTF, and NPSM threads.
Aluminum fittings are more lightweight than brass fittings. They have good abrasion and corrosion resistance. Brass fittings are softer than aluminum fittings, so they’re easier to thread together. They have good corrosion resistance.

Pin-Lug Fire-Fighting Hose Fittings
The pin lugs on these fittings allow for easy gripping, so you can quickly connect to fire hydrants and washdown equipment. Tighten with a hook-style spanner wrench (sold separately). All are brass for good corrosion resistance.
NH/NST (National Hose/National Standard) threads are only compatible with other NH/NST threads.
