Titanium-Clad Super-Conductive 101 Copper Rods
- Yield Strength: Not Rated
- Hardness: Not Rated
- Temper Rating: Not Rated
- Heat Treatable: No
A thin layer of titanium is bonded to these copper rods for long life and dimensional stability in corrosive environments. With greater than 99.9% copper content, 101 copper has higher purity than 110 copper, resulting in superior electrical conductivity. It's commonly called OFHC copper. Use these rods in electrical applications.

Ultra-Corrosion-Resistant Grade 2 Titanium Sheets and Bars
Because Grade 2 titanium is 99% pure, it is more corrosion resistant than Grades 5 and 9 but not as strong. It has good formability and weldability. Common uses include chemical-processing equipment, heat exchangers, and marine hardware.

Fatigue-Resistant Grade 23 Titanium Rods
- Yield Strength: 120,000 psi
- Hardness: Rockwell C34 (Hard)
- Temper Rating: Softened (Annealed)
- Specifications Met: ASTM B348, ASTM F136, ISO 5832-3
Purer than Grade 5 titanium, these long-lasting rods resist fracturing from use even when cracked. They’re also easier to form into shapes than Grade 5 titanium and lighter in weight than steel. Thanks to their aluminum and vanadium content, these rods are stronger than pure titanium, though they’re not as strong as Grade 5. They won’t rust, even in marine or saltwater environments. All meet ASTM F136 and ISO standards for biomedical use. They also meet ASTM B348 standards for titanium alloys. Grade 23 titanium is also known as 6-4 ELI and Ti-6Al-4V ELI titanium.

Easy-to-Weld Grade 9 Titanium
- Yield Strength: 105,000 psi
- Hardness: Not Rated
- Temper Rating: Not Rated
- Fabrication: Stress Relieved
Grade 9 titanium has less aluminum and vanadium than Grade 5, so it's easier to weld but not as strong.

Ultra-Corrosion-Resistant Grade 4 Titanium Rods
- Yield Strength: 70,000 psi
- Hardness: Rockwell B100 (Hard)
- Temper Rating: Softened (Annealed)
- Specifications Met: ASTM B348
These titanium rods are the strongest of the commercially pure titanium alloys, Grades 1 through 4, and resist corrosion better than Grade 5 titanium. However, they’re not as strong as Grade 5, and they won’t bend or form as easily as lower grades. Use them in chemical processing and marine environments. Nearly 99% pure, these rods won’t corrode from chlorides or oxidizing acids, such as hydrochloric and sulfuric acids. They also stand up to alkalies, such as hydroxide and ammonia. With more iron and oxygen than lower grade titanium, these rods are lightweight as well as strong. They also withstand impacts at low temperatures.

Ultra-Corrosion-Resistant Grade 4 Titanium Sheets
With a higher iron and oxygen content, Grade 4 titanium is the strongest of the commercially pure titanium alloys, Grades 1 through 4. Although not as strong as Grade 5 titanium, Grade 4 is more corrosion resistant, so it stands up to hydrochloric and sulfuric acids, sodium-hydroxide and ammonia alkalies, and chlorides. Use it in areas where strength and corrosion resistance are a must, such as in chemical processing and marine environments.
Grade 4 titanium has good formability and ductility, however it is not as good as Grades 1 through 3. It also has a good strength-to-weight ratio and can withstand impacts at low temperatures.
