Threaded Temperature Switches
Install the threaded probe directly into tanks, pipelines, and other process components to turn heating equipment on or off at a specified temperature. These switches have an adjustment dial to set the actuation point. All are SPDT (single pole, double throw). They can be set to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed).

Turn heating equipment on or off at a specified temperature. Switches have a probe on a cable for remote temperature readings. Set the actuation point with the adjustment dial.
Switches that control one circuit are single pole, double throw (SPDT). They can be set to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed).
Switches that control two circuits are double pole, single throw (DPST). They turn two circuits from on to off (normally closed).
Switches with a pilot light indicate when the switch is on.
Use packing seals and fittings (sold separately) to seal the probe into threaded tanks and pipes.

DIN-Rail-Mount Autotuning Temperature Controllers
Mount these temperature controllers directly onto DIN rail for controlling systems with rapid, unpredictable, or complex temperature changes. They turn heating equipment on and off using a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control algorithm to make fine adjustments, giving you the most precise and stable temperature control. All work similarly to proportional controllers but gather more variables to calculate the most effective way to return to the target temperature and avoid overshooting. They also have fuzzy logic to learn your system's behavior and compensate as needed. Use the autotuning function to have the controller cycle and identify the ideal PID variables for your system. These controllers read temperature with a highly sensitive thermocouple or RTD probe (both not included) in critical process applications. Since they reset automatically, they switch off and on again as the temperature fluctuates. Use the keypad to adjust the actuation point, reset point, and other settings.
All meet American, Canadian, and European safety standards.
Mechanical relay outputs actuate circuits directly. All are single pole, single throw (SPST) relays and turn one circuit from off to on (normally open). Solid state relay outputs send a pulse signal to directly control an external solid state relay (not included). They last longer than mechanical and analog signal relays. Use them for more precise and rapid control switching than mechanical relays. Analog signal outputs are typically used with SRC (silicon controlled rectifier) power controllers (not included) for some of the highest precision control.
Alarm outputs can be configured to actuate alarms or other simple devices. Those with cooling/alarm outputs can also be used to turn cooling equipment on or off at a specified temperature.

On/Off Temperature Controllers for Plug-in Heaters
Switch heaters on or off when your process reaches a certain temperature. Both these controllers and your heater will be powered by the same wall outlet. Place the probe into your process, plug the controller into an outlet, and plug your heater into the socket on the back of the controller’s plug. These simple temperature controllers deliver either full power or no power. They’re best used in systems where temperatures change slowly and you don’t need precise control.
IP20 and NEMA 1 rated controllers are best for indoor use. They keep dirt out and will stop objects about the size of a finger from coming into contact with a live circuit.
