Use these pipettes with pipette pumps. For quick identification, they have a color-coded band that indicates capacity. They're made of glass, so they resist chemical absorption.

Bulb pipettes require two hands.
Plunger pipettes can be used with one hand. Turn the thumbwheel to draw liquid into the pipette, then press the plunger for quick dispensing.

Use these glass droppers once and then throw them away to reduce the risk of cross contamination. To control the flow, cover the open top with your thumb.
