Choosing an Electrical Switch

30 mm Emergency Stop Panel-Mount Push-Button Switches

Immediately cut power with a single push. These switches are rated for protection from low-pressure streams of water and oil/coolant spraying. They have positive force contacts that will open a circuit when actuated even if a spring fails or the contacts stick. Switches include enough contact blocks to control the number of circuits listed.

Switches with lockout latch when you depress the button, and can be locked in that position using a lockout or padlock with a 9/32" shackle diameter.

Additional contact blocks (sold separately) can be added to control more circuits, or to replace the included contact block.

Also known as palm-button switches, these have a large button that makes them easy to use even while wearing gloves. They're rated NEMA 13 and IP65 for protection from oil/coolant spraying and washdowns.

Switches with positive force contacts will open a circuit when actuated even if a spring fails or the contacts stick.

Ring guards (sold separately) protect the actuator and reduce the chance of accidental actuation.
