Durable Disconnect Switches
Protected by a steel enclosure, these switches withstand tougher conditions than switches in a plastic housing. Also known as safety switches, they have quick-make/quick-break action to eliminate arcing and prolong switch life. They have a lockout to secure in the off position using a padlock (not included).
Switches with safety interlock keep the door closed when the switch is on and prevent the switch from turning on when the door is open.
Switches with a fuse holder are used where overload protection is needed. When the current exceeds the fuse’s rating, the fuse will blow, interrupting the circuit to prevent the switch from overheating, breaking, or causing a fire. These switches require rejection-style fuse clips when used with UL Class RK1, RK5, or T fuses. Note: Horsepower ratings are based on time-delay fuses installed.

Automatic Transfer Switches
When the microcontroller inside detects a power outage, these switches automatically fire up a backup generator. They’ll switch back to utility power once power is restored. To prevent injury and damage to your generator, they are open transition, meaning the contacts disconnect from one power source before connecting to another. This is also known as break-before-make switching. These switches also have built-in overload protection, so they can isolate themselves from utility power to protect your facility. LED status lights let you know which power source is in use. Add a padlock (not included) to the lockout to prevent unauthorized changes to the switch. Rated NEMA 1, these switches should only be used indoors.
They're compatible with generators that have a two-wire remote starting system.
NEMA 3R doors make these switches safe for use outdoors since they seal out rain, snow, and sleet. These doors cover the LED status lights on the switch when closed.

Spade-Terminal Relays
Using a low-current signal, these relays are often used to control small motors and heaters. These relays attach to quick-disconnect terminals.
Surface-mount relays have a slot on the flange for mounting them to flat surfaces. Relay-socket mount relays plug into a socket (sold separately).
Relay sockets mount directly on 35 mm DIN rail (also known as DIN 3 rail) for fast installation. Relay sockets with screw terminals can also mount to a flat surface.

Circular-Pin Relays
The circular pin terminals plug into relay sockets for easy installation. Also known as ice cube relays.
Relays rated for horsepower (hp) are built to handle tough, repetitive-use applications.
Relays with a lockable test button allow you to test whether a relay is working without an electrical signal. They’re helpful for testing relays before you install them, or for checking that installed relays are working properly.
Relay sockets (sold separately) mount to 35 mm DIN rail (also known as DIN 3 rail) or can be mounted to a flat surface.
