Mobile Strapping Dispensers
Roll these dispensers wherever you need them to keep strapping coils neat and ready to use. They all have a tool tray for keeping accessories organized.
Style A has large wheels for good maneuvering and a spring-loaded brake that prevents strapping from unspooling. Styles B and D have rubber tires that work well on rough surfaces. Style B has a brake that prevents strapping from unspooling.

Open seals are best for flat surfaces. Closed seals can be used on irregular surfaces as well as rounded objects.

Plastic Strapping

Tie down pallet loads and seal packages and crates. This plastic strapping is lighter in weight and safer to cut under tension than metal strapping.
Polypropylene strapping is the standard choice. It won’t absorb water, so it keeps its shape and strength in damp environments. However, it loses tension over time. Polyester strapping is stronger than polypropylene strapping.
Smooth is the most common texture. It returns to its original shape if stretched slightly. However, it may snap from sudden impact.
For an extra-tight bundle, embossed strapping has more grip than other strapping textures, so there’s less slipping between the strap and the seal.
If your shipment could be roughly handled, consider bonded, woven, or basket weave strapping. Bonded strapping resists snapping if struck suddenly, such as when two crates collide. Woven strapping has a cross thread to prevent tearing and fraying. It also resists snapping from sudden impact.

Tabletop Plastic Strapping Kits
The plastic strapping in these kits is lighter, safer, and more flexible than metal strapping.
Embossed polypropylene strapping has a textured surface that grips loads and seals to reduce slipping.
Woven polyester strapping is shock resistant and elastic enough to flex with moving loads, making it less likely to cut into packages than embossed strapping. Cross threads keep it from tearing and fraying. The surface is uneven, so thickness is an estimate.

Roll these strapping kits where you need them. They come with plastic strapping which is lighter, safer, and more flexible than metal strapping. Polyester strapping is stronger than polypropylene. It can sustain moderate stretch and return to its original condition.

Electric Combination Tensioner/Sealers for Plastic Strapping
Capable of securing 15 polypropylene straps per minute, this mobile tensioner/sealer saves you time and energy. Manually pull strapping over the package and feed it into the strapping inlet. Metal Strapping

Bundle your heaviest shipments on pallets or in crates—this metal strapping handles more force than plastic strapping. As your shipment is moved, this strapping won't stretch or break, keeping your items tightly bundled. A wax or oil coating makes tensioning smoother and prevents the strapping from getting caught around your material's corners. The edges on this strapping are smooth for safe handling.
Solid strapping is stronger than punched strapping. Punched strapping has holes that make it more flexible than solid strapping, so it conforms to irregularly shaped items better.
Low-carbon steel will work for most heavy loads that will be stored indoors.
High-carbon steel strapping is heat treated, making it our strongest and least likely to snap from sudden impact or jolts.
302 stainless steel strapping is the most corrosion resistant, so it's best for shipments that will be left outdoors for extended periods.
