Plastic Tweezers
Choose plastic tweezers for a soft, nonmarring grip. These tools are corrosion resistant and nonmagnetic. They also prevent buildup from electrostatic discharge (ESD) that can damage sensitive equipment.
Tweezers with slim tips allow more visibility of your work than standard tips. Tweezers with bent or curved tips reach over and around obstructions to maximize visibility.
Tweezers with pointed tips firmly grip your object but may mar its surface. Tweezers with square tips are wide and flat for a good grip on thin sheets and labels. Tweezers with round tips won’t nick or mar your object’s surface, but they don’t grip as firmly as pointed tips.
PVDF tweezers are very abrasion and wear resistant and withstand a variety of acids and other harsh substances. They’re often used in the semiconductor industry.

Static-Control Tweezers

These tweezers are made of 300 series stainless steel, which has excellent corrosion resistance. Commonly known as anti-magnetic tweezers, they are typically nonmagnetic but may become slightly magnetic with use.

Replaceable-Tip Tweezers
Extend the life of these tweezers by replacing the tips when they become worn. Commonly known as anti-magnetic tweezers, they are typically nonmagnetic but may become slightly magnetic with use.
Tweezers with bent and curved tips reach over and around obstructions.
Tweezers with pointed tips give you a firm grip. Tweezers with round tips won’t mar or nick components.
Carbon fiber tips are the strongest, so they can handle repeated use on heavy components without cracking or degrading. However, if you press hard enough, they can leave carbon particles behind. The soft tips won’t nick or scratch components. They are often used in general electronics assembly. These tips are conductive, meaning static can flow through them to divert an electrostatic discharge (ESD). However, their low surface resistivity means that they can increase the static charge while diverting it.
PEEK plastic tips won’t degrade from contact with chemicals, including solvents and many inorganic liquids. They also hold up in high temperature applications. These tips are often used for handling components during cleaning or chemical treating. They are conductive, meaning static can flow through them to divert an electrostatic discharge (ESD). However, their low surface resistivity means that they can increase a static charge while diverting it.
Thermoplastic blend tips are static dissipative, making them the best choice for use on sensitive electronic devices. They equalize the charge between your hand and the device in a slower, more controlled way than conductive tips, which helps prevent a sudden electrostatic discharge (ESD).
Acetal tips are exceptionally soft, so you can use them to handle fragile material without marking or deforming it. They are often used with glass, ceramic, and other surfaces that are easily scratched. These tips are electrical insulating, meaning that they block the flow of electricity. They are not safe for applications where electrostatic discharge (ESD) is a concern.
Ceramic tips are made from zirconia-toughened alumina, which combines high strength and hardness. Because they have a hard surface, these tips resist abrasion and wear. They also have excellent thermal properties and withstand high temperatures and corrosive environments. These tips are often used when handling components during thermal, chemical and soldering processes, especially when very rigid tips are required. They are static dissipative.

Replaceable-Tip Tweezers Sets
These assorted tweezers have tips that can be replaced when they become worn. Tips are carbon fiber, which insulates against heat and won’t nick or scratch components. They also drain static from your application, preventing buildup from electrostatic discharge (ESD) that can damage sensitive equipment. The body of the tool is 300 series stainless steel, which has excellent corrosion resistance. Commonly known as anti-magnetic tweezers, they are typically nonmagnetic but may become slightly magnetic with use.

Precision Static-Control Wire End Cutters
Shaped like tweezers, these cutters make accurate, flush cuts in small wire without damaging the surface underneath. The grips drain static away from the tips, protecting sensitive components from electrostatic discharge (ESD). These end cutters are often used to trim excess wire leads after soldering electronic components onto circuit boards.
Cutters with tungsten carbide tips cut through the hardest metal and stay sharp longer than cutters with steel tips. These cutters have stainless steel handles to resist rusting in damp or humid environments.
Cutters with 9/32” lg. tips are short and rounded at the end to give you the best view of your wire. They’re often used under microscopes or in other small spaces.
Cutters with rubber grips are cushioned for a comfortable hold.
