Clamp-On No-Crimp Butt Splices
Press down on the clamp to connect wires for quick field installation, no crimping or tools required. These splices disconnect as easily as they connect and are reusable, making them good for testing or prototyping setups that frequently change.
These splices create a secure hold, so they’re often used in electrical enclosures such as outlet boxes. They’re clear, which allows you to visually confirm wires are properly connected. To mount them in control cabinets, use splice holders and DIN-rail adapters (both sold separately).
Splice holders have a flange that slides into the groove of another holder, so you can connect multiple holders together. Screw-on holders are more secure than snap-on holders. Snap-on holders are a good choice if you’re attaching multiple holders to a DIN rail because they’re quick to install.
DIN-rail adapters clip onto DIN rail.
Covers have an inner gel that seals splices to keep out water, dust, and debris. Unlike potting compounds, covers don’t require mixing or pouring to install. If you need to expand or repair a circuit, you can open these covers and reuse the wires inside. However, once you open a cover and remove the gel, you’ll need a new splice and cover.

Clamp-On Wire Splicing Connectors
Quickly connect wires without crimping or twisting. When you press the clamp down, your wire is locked in and can’t be pulled out. Lift up the clamp to remove your wire. Because they're reusable, these connectors are great for temporary wiring during testing and prototyping. You can also use them to connect wires in an outlet box.
Clear connectors let you see that the wire is inserted properly and stripped to the correct length. They have two test slots—one on the front and one on the back—to test voltage even after the connectors are installed.
Use a DIN rail adapter (sold separately) to mount these connectors to a 35 mm DIN rail in a control cabinet.
Covers (sold separately) are lined with a sticky gel that seals water out. Unlike a potting compound, you don’t need to mix or pour the gel before you install these covers. They’re rated IP08, so you can use them in junction boxes exposed to rain, splashing, and humidity. If you have to expand or repair a circuit, you can open these covers and use the wires again. However, once you open the cover and remove the gel, you’ll need a new connector and cover.
