Pump-Action Desoldering Tools
Vacuum suction removes heated, liquid solder from sensitive components. These tools don't create ESD (electrostatic discharge), so they protect ESD-sensitive components.
Squeeze-Action Desoldering Tools
Also known as solder suckers, these tools remove heated, liquid solder.
ESD (electrostatic discharge) safe tools don’t create ESD, so they protect sensitive components.
Electric Desoldering Guns
The fast-heating tip liquefies the solder and a built-in vacuum pump draws it into a disposable filter.
ESD (electrostatic discharge) safe guns prevent static buildup, so they protect sensitive components.

Single-Channel Soldering and Desoldering Stations
Solder and desolder from the same station. These stations come with an iron for each job. You can adjust the temperature for the best results. They won’t create electrostatic discharge (ESD), so they protect sensitive components.
The desoldering iron lets you heat and suction off solder for precise removal. To stop solder from clogging it up, the iron has an in-line collection chamber. It has a removable handle, so you can hold it like a pencil or a gun.

Multichannel Soldering and Desoldering Stations
Switch between different soldering and desoldering tools quickly—these stations have either two or three channels to plug in multiple tools so they're ready to go. You can adjust the temperature for the best results. To protect sensitive components, they don’t create ESD (electrostatic discharge). Additional tips and nozzles are sold separately.
Choose a station that’s compatible with your soldering or desoldering iron. Each station includes a variety of tools to solder, desolder, or both—determine if the included tools work for your application.
Add different shaped and sized tips depending on the components you're soldering. The smaller the point width, the smaller the solder joint. For example, use a tip with a point width of 1/64” for soldering extra-small electronics under a microscope. For heavy duty soldering and large components, a tip with a point width of 1/8” works better.
Metcal MFR stations have a built-in vacuum for desoldering jobs. The included desoldering iron has a removable handle, so you can hold it like a pencil or a gun.
Desoldering irons heat and suction off solder for precise removal. To prevent solder clogs, they have an in-line collection chamber. Fixed-temperature tips require you to change out the tip if you need to adjust the temperature.
