About Air Preparation

Adjust and maintain the pressure of your compressed air. All regulators are relieving style, so they exhaust when the downstream pressure exceeds the set pressure. Install in your air line after filters.

Mounting brackets allow you to attach the regulator to a wall or equipment.

Joiner clamps (sold separately) connect the regulator to another SMC modular component with the same series number. They come with mounting brackets.

Clear Bowl

A filter and regulator joined top-to-bottom, these filter/regulators fit in the same space as a filter alone. They provide clean compressed air at your required pressure. Regulator is relieving style, so it exhausts when the downstream pressure exceeds the set pressure.

Filters with a clear bowl or an opaque bowl with sight glass allow you to see inside to monitor contents.

Mounting brackets let you attach the filter/regulator to a wall or equipment.

Joiner clamps (sold separately) connect the filter/regulator to another SMC modular component with the same series number. They come with mounting brackets.

SMC Modular Compressed Air Filter/Regulators for Oil Removal

An oil filter and regulator joined top-to-bottom, these filter/regulators fit in the same space as a filter alone. They provide clean compressed air at your required pressure. Filter has a clear bowl so you can see inside to monitor contents. Regulator is relieving style, so it exhausts when the downstream pressure exceeds the set pressure. To prevent clogs, install a particle filter before the oil filter.

Mounting brackets (sold separately) allow you to attach the filter/regulator to a wall or equipment.

Joiner clamps (sold separately) connect the filter/regulator to another SMC modular component with the same series number. They come with mounting brackets.

An SMC filter, regulator, and lubricator are combined to provide clean, lubricated compressed air at your required pressure. Regulator is relieving style, so it exhausts when the downstream pressure exceeds the set pressure.

Filter/regulator/lubricators with a clear bowl allow you to see inside to monitor contents.

Stacked filter/regulator/lubricators require less horizontal space than inline FRLs. The filter and regulator are joined top-to-bottom with the lubricator on the side.

BSPP threads are also known as G threads.

Mounting brackets allow you to attach the filter/regulator/lubricator to a wall or equipment.

Joiner clamps connect the filter/regulator/lubricator to another SMC modular component with the same series number. They come with mounting brackets.

Safety Lockout Valves for SMC Modular
Compressed Air Filter/Regulator/Lubricators (FRLs)

Prevent accidental start-up when servicing equipment. These lockout valves exhaust downstream pressure and can be locked in the shut-off position using a padlock (not included). Valves help your process comply with OSHA regulations for lockout/tagout procedures.

Joiner clamps (sold separately) connect the safety lockout valve to another SMC modular component with the same series number. They come with mounting brackets to attach the valve to a wall or equipment.

Slow-Start Air-Exhaust Valves for SMC Modular
Compressed Air Filter/Regulator/Lubricators (FRLs)

Also known as Monday-morning valves, these valves slowly introduce pressure to reduce surge damage during start-up. When the solenoid is shut off, the valve cuts air to your equipment by exhausting downstream pressure. To ensure compatibility, the valve series number should match the series number on your SMC components.
