Food Industry Electrical-Insulating Grease
Use this grease in areas where there is the possibility of contact with food. Also known as dielectric grease, it lubricates and protects electrical systems. It resists water and corrosion. This grease can be used on most rubber and plastic.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 1 is about the consistency of tomato paste. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter. Dielectric strength measures the maximum voltage a grease can withstand without losing its insulating properties. The higher the dielectric strength, the better its quality as an insulator.
Grease that is NSF Registered H1 and grease that meets FDA Compliant 21 CFR 178.3570 are rated for incidental contact with food. Grease lubricates most efficiently below the maximum temperature. Nonmelting grease can be used at temperatures above the maximum temperature briefly, but then will break down more quickly.

Food Industry Grease
Use this grease in food-processing and preparation areas.
NLGI viscosity grade is a rating of a grease's consistency. NLGI 1 is about the consistency of tomato paste. NLGI 2 is about the consistency of peanut butter.
Grease that is NSF registered H1 and grease that meets FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 are rated for incidental contact with food. Synthetic-oil-based grease lasts longer than mineral-oil-based grease and generally withstands a wider range of temperatures. Grease with silicone thickener has excellent heat and moisture resistance and good oxidation resistance.
Grease lubricates most efficiently within the listed temperature range. Nonmelting grease can be used at temperatures above the maximum temperature briefly, but then will break down more quickly.
Molykote withstands high loads and has good wear resistance.

Heat Sink Bonding Compounds
Bond heat sinks to surfaces, eliminating air gaps for maximum heat transfer. These compounds are commonly used with transistors, diodes, rectifiers, and transformers.
Construction Adhesives
Install building materials such as wood and drywall with these general purpose adhesives.
Silicone adhesives resist a wider range of temperatures than latex adhesives.

Ready-to-Use Silicone Potting Compounds
No mixing required—these potting compounds come ready to apply. Use them to encase electronic assemblies for protection from dust, moisture, mechanical shock, and vibration. Softer and more flexible than epoxies and urethanes with the widest temperature range, silicone potting compounds are the best choice for high-temperature applications and electronics exposed to thermal cycling. They have good moisture resistance but poor chemical and abrasion resistance. Silicones provide excellent electrical insulation. They're also known as RTV (room-temperature vulcanizing) compounds because they don’t need heat or UV light to cure.
Potting compounds that meet UL 94 V-0 have passed a test for flame retardance.
Potting compounds that cannot be sold to California exceed local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Potting compounds that cannot be sold to Canada are restricted by product labeling requirements.
