Silica High-Temperature Sleeving
Made of silica, this sleeving can withstand higher temperatures than fiberglass. It resists open flame and molten metal splash, so it’s a good choice for welding applications. It also withstands oil and gasoline. Because this sleeving is non-expandable, it does not stretch, so it’s best for applications where you know the exact diameter of the items you need to protect.

Ultra-Thin Aerogel Pipe Insulation
- Temperature Range: 32° to 1200° F
- Heat Flow Rate: 0.16 Btu @ 75° F
- Density: 12.5 lbs./cu. ft.
- Color: Maroon
- Specifications Met: ASTM E84 0/0 for Flame and Smoke, ASTM C447
Lightweight and super thin, these fiber-reinforced silica aerogel sheets and strips flex into tight spaces other insulation can't. Use on process piping and in power-generating applications. Insulation can be layered, laminated, or wrapped in foil. They meet ASTM E84 0/0 standards for flame and smoke. They also meet ASTM C447, so they can be used at 1200° F continuously.
