UN-Compliant Cardboard Boxes
Safely ship hazardous material. These boxes are tested to comply with United Nations regulations for packaging and shipping hazardous material over land, sea, or air. These regulations aim to prevent hazardous spills caused by accidents or rough package handling.
All boxes meet an Edge Crush Test (ECT) standard or have a maximum burst strength rating, both of which indicate a box’s strength. ECT standards measure the amount of force a box can withstand before the edges collapse. ECT 48 is comparable to a 275 lb. burst strength.
Note: It is the responsibility of the shipper to follow regulatory guidelines for properly packaging and labeling all hazardous materials and ensure the appropriate method for shipping.
