With a high-watt density, they heat liquids up quickly. Inside the sheath is a heating element made of Incoloy or 316 stainless steel that won’t corrode when exposed to water and moisture.

Both ends of the fitting are threaded, so one side fits into your tank and the other can be threaded into conduit to protect the wiring. For the most even heat distribution, choose the largest length of heater that will fit in your container. All require a temperature switch or controller (sold separately) to regulate the heat output and power the heater.

To minimize bacteria growth and make them easier to clean, the heating element has an electropolished finish that’s free of crevices. Rated NEMA 4, their housing is protected against dirt and washdowns.

These heaters have screw plugs for mounting to threaded container openings or pipe couplings.

Heaters with an adjustable thermostat automatically turn on when the water drops below a set temperature and turn off once it reaches that temperature. Heaters without an adjustable thermostat require a temperature switch or controller (not included) to control heat output.
