Electric Portable Band Saws

All you need is an outlet to get these band saws moving. Use them to make straight or curved cuts in metal and other materials. They are smaller and more mobile than stationary band saws. When it’s time to switch out the blade, you won’t need any tools.
Saws with an adjustable shoe stabilize your workpiece and hold it in place.
Adjust the speed on saws with speed control based on the hardness of your material. Set the dial to your desired speed, then make small tweaks using the trigger—the harder you squeeze it, the faster the blade will move. These saws also have an LED light to see where you’re cutting.
Band saw stands (sold separately) transform your portable band saw into a stationary one. Attach these stands to a benchtop or add legs with 3/4 NPT pipe, so you can work at a comfortable height anywhere in your facility. They have a chain vise to hold your material.

Electric Reciprocating Saws
Often used for demolition, these saws make quick, rough cuts in a wide range of material from old pipes to drywall. A variable-speed trigger helps you optimize your cuts—the harder you press down on the trigger, the faster the blade moves. These saws accept any 1/2” shank reciprocating saw blade. Switch out the blades without needing tools.
Milwaukee saws can switch to orbital cutting, which means the blade moves in an oval pattern, to make even faster, rougher cuts. For more precise speed control than just the trigger, these saws also have a dial to set the maximum speed. An adjustable shoe lets you change your cutting depth without using any tools. This extends blade life by exposing different sections of the blade to the material being cut.

Strut Channel Cutters

Trim strut channel down to size with clean, accurate cuts in seconds. Burr-free and precise—these cutters use a die to shear your strut channel. They're a safe option relative to band or cutoff saws since they don't have an exposed blade. Plus, they won't generate sparks as an angle grinder would. Bring them wherever you're assembling a support structure. Their Milwaukee battery is good for 250 cuts on a single charge. LED lights illuminate the cut area to help you make sure you’re cutting in the right spot.
These cutters come with the most common die size, but you can also swap out dies (sold separately) to cut different sizes of strut channel. Not for use on stainless steel.
Using Bluetooth, you can connect these cutters to the free downloadable Milwaukee One-Key app. The app lets you track your tool, monitor usage, and get notifications when maintenance is needed.
These cutters come with a battery and charger, but you can also add backup or replacement batteries and chargers.

Battery-Powered Routers
Cordless operation means you can easily take these routers from place to place. Pair them with router bits to cut grooves, chamfers, and other detailed shapes on panels, sheets, and other large surfaces. Routers have a fixed base that holds the bit at a fixed height while routing; not recommended for plunge cutting.
Milwaukee routers have six-position speed control.
