Water-Resistant Sanding Sheets

These sheets resist deterioration when used wet or with grease, chemicals, cutting fluids, and other solvents that may be present when sanding. They are coated with aluminum oxide, the most common abrasive, which is hard enough to sand steel and wood.
Sheets with plastic film backing have micron-graded abrasive particles that produce a more uniform and clean finish than standard sanding sheets because of their consistent size and spacing. The plastic backing resists tearing and bends like cloth, plus it has a high-friction coating to prevent slipping on the work surface—particularly good while wet sanding.

Cushioned Sanding Rolls

A cushioned layer lets you apply more even sanding pressure on your workpiece, creating finer and more consistent finishes. Rolls with foam backing have a slick coating that prevents debris from accumulating on the abrasive surface and keeps operating temperatures low. They are perforated every 5.5" for easy tearing off.
Aluminum oxide is the most common abrasive material, hard enough to sand steel and wood. It is less sharp than silicon carbide and takes longer to abrade.

Use these rolls to create consistent finishes on hard metals such as stainless steel, iron, and nickel. They have a slick coating that prevents debris from accumulating on the abrasive surface and keeps operating temperatures low. Cut the length you need and stick it on your sanding tool. When it’s time to change the sheet, peel it off.
Ceramic alumina grit continually fractures to produce new, sharp cutting edges. It's sharp and dense enough to shape hard metals such as stainless steel and nickel without dulling quickly.

Cushioned Adhesive-Back Sanding Discs for Stainless Steel and Hard Metals

The cushioned construction gives you more control over sanding pressure, creating finer and more consistent finishes. These discs resist deterioration when used wet. Press onto a compatible sanding tool or backup pad (sold separately); peel off to remove. Also known as PSA discs.
