Spiral-Wound Sanding Rolls
As the outer layer wears away, new abrasive is exposed. Also known as cartridge rolls. A shank adapter is required (sold separately).
Straight rolls are for use in channels, fillets, recesses, contours, sidewalls, and other hard-to-reach spots.
Tapered rolls are for use on angles, corners, concave contours, funnel-shaped recesses, and other intricate shapes. The diameter listed is for the large end of the roll.

Spiral-Wound Sanding Rolls with Shank
The secure bond of the roll to the integrated shank prevents loosening from vibration while sanding, resulting in a smooth finish. Great for precision grinding applications when you need to sand your surface to a specific tolerance. Use these rolls in channels, fillets, recesses, contours, sidewalls, and other hard-to-reach spots. As the outer layer wears away, new abrasive is exposed. Also known as cartridge rolls.
The most common abrasive material, aluminum oxide is hard enough to sand steel and wood. It costs less than zirconia alumina but wears down faster.

Long-Life Spiral-Wound Sanding Rolls with Shank
Change your sanding rolls less often and produce a more consistent finish compared to standard sanding rolls. The secure bond of the roll to the integrated shank prevents loosening from vibration while sanding, resulting in a smooth finish. Great for precision grinding applications when you need to sand your surface to a specific tolerance. Use these rolls in channels, fillets, recesses, contours, sidewalls, and other hard-to-reach spots. As the outer layer wears away, new abrasive is exposed. Also known as cartridge rolls.
Zirconia alumina grit continually fractures to produce new, sharp cutting edges. This abrasive is great for aggressively removing material from steel and wood, and it lasts longer than aluminum oxide.
