Use mesh size sample packs to keep a convenient range of mesh sizes on hand for maintenance and research projects. Sample packs with mesh size 2 × 2 to 16 × 16 are for large particles. Sample packs with mesh size 18 × 18 to 60 × 60 are for medium particles. Sample packs with mesh size 70 × 70 to 500 × 500 are for small particles.
Identification kit is a handy reference for identifying and comparing mesh sizes. The pieces come labeled and organized in a three-ring binder.
Use wire diameter sample packs to compare the opening size and flexibility of pieces with different wire diameters.
