Pipe Groovers
Manually form grooves in pipe ends for on-site installation and maintenance of grooved-end piping systems. Also known as roll groovers, these press into pipe to form a groove rather than cutting away material, so they won't weaken the pipe or produce messy shavings. They’re compact enough to carry from job to job and lightweight enough for you to groove overhead pipe without having to set up a tripod or pipe stand.
Adjust the depth of the rollers based on the thickness of your pipe to create a uniform groove all the way around. A ratcheting handle allows you to turn the groover in confined spaces with as little as 3 1/2" of clearance around the pipe. To attach properly, groovers require 2 3/4" of exposed pipe.
