About Countersinks
Countersinks cut a cone-shaped opening to install screws and rivets flush with a surface or hold workpieces between centers on a lathe. They can also be used for chamfering and deburring.

Tight-Spot Reverse Countersink Heads for Screws
If limited space makes it difficult to countersink your hole, access it from the other side with one of these tools. Put the shank in your drill chuck, insert the shank into a through hole, and attach the countersink head on the end. Pull back on the drill to countersink the backside of the hole. The 82° countersink angle is compatible with the profile of flat- and oval-head inch screws.
Shank (sold separately) is required. The shank diameter should match the diameter of your through hole.

Tight-Spot Reverse Countersink Heads for Rivets
In areas where limited space makes it difficult to countersink your hole, access it from the other side with one of these tools. Put the shank in your drill chuck, insert the shank into a through hole, and attach the countersink head on the end. Pull back on the drill to countersink the backside of the hole. The 100° countersink angle is compatible with the profile of rivets.
Shank (sold separately) is required. The shank diameter should match the diameter of your through hole.
