On/Off Valves with Push-to-Connect Fittings
Insert tubing into the fittings on these valves—no heat, solder, or flux required.
Screwdriver-operated valves resist accidental movement when snagged or bumped. They require a slotted screwdriver (not included) to open and close.
Standard-port valves slightly restrict flow.

On/Off Valves with Yor-Lok Fittings
For extra gripping power and a strong seal, the Yor-Lok fittings on these valves have two sleeves that bite into tubing as you tighten the nut. All are compatible with Swagelok®, Let-Lok, and Parker A-Lok fittings. Valves are standard port, so they slightly restrict flow.
316 stainless steel valves are more corrosion resistant than brass valves.
Lockable lever handles can be fixed in place using a padlock (not included) with a shackle diameter up to 11/32".
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Compressed Gas Fill Valves
Mount these valves onto compressed gas tanks. Also known as Schrader valves—which are typically used with compressed air—they have an internal spring that holds the valve shut when you depress the pin to add, remove, or check the pressure of compressed gas. Made of brass, these valves thread onto nuts more easily than valves made of harder metal. They also have good corrosion resistance. Valves have a thread cap to protect the stem from accidental gas release.
Valves for use with butane are commonly used on torches. They’re nickel plated for extra corrosion resistance.
Valves for use with nitrogen are often used in central heating systems.

Air Fill Valves
Also known as Schrader valves, these valves rapidly fill or empty compressed air tanks or pneumatic tires.
Brass valves are softer than other metals, so they’re easier to thread together. They have good corrosion resistance.

Quick-Disconnect Hose Couplings for Hydraulic Fluid
Also known as flush-face couplings, the plugs and sockets have a flat face, which allows them to mate close against each other, reducing fluid loss when connecting and disconnecting the line. A complete coupling consists of a plug and a socket (both sold separately) that connect and disconnect quickly. Use them when you need frequent access to a line. All of the International Standard ISO Minimal-Spill quick-disconnect plugs are compatible with any of the International Standard ISO Minimal-Spill quick-disconnect sockets of the same coupling size, regardless of the pipe size. Also known as double shut-off couplings, the plugs and sockets both have a shut-off valve that stops the flow when the coupling is separated. They are zinc-plated steel, which has excellent strength and durability and fair corrosion resistance.
Plugs are also known as nipples.
Sockets are push-to-connect style. To connect, push the plug into the socket until you hear a click. To disconnect, slide the sleeve on the socket forward until the plug ejects.
Note: To ensure a correct fit, make sure that the plug and socket have the same coupling size. Pressure ratings are given for static (constant) pressure conditions.
Warning: Never attempt to connect or disconnect couplings when operating at maximum pressure. Stop the flow before you disconnect the line.

Varistors
Protect circuits from electrical spikes and surges. You’ll often find these varistors in surge protectors for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and sensors. Also known as voltage-dependent resistors (VDRs), they change their response based on the voltage. When the voltage is high, their resistance drops to route excess current away from the primary flow. But when voltage is low, their resistance increases, sending current through the primary circuit flow instead of the varistor.

Flow-Control Mufflers
Adjust the flow by turning the screw. Use these mufflers with air-powered tools and cylinders to reduce noise and filter exhaust fumes.
For mufflers with an external hex drive, twist the screw and then tighten the hex nut with a wrench to secure. These mufflers are more secure than those with a thumb screw.
Brass, bronze, and nylon mufflers offer good corrosion resistance.
