Rectifiers
Convert AC voltage to DC voltage on a circuit board. Since these are bridge rectifiers, they maintain a more constant DC output than other types of rectifiers.

Electronic Component Assortments
Keep a variety of electronic components on hand for building and repairing circuits. These assortments include both through-hole and surface-mount components. Through-hole components have wire leads to push through holes in a circuit board. Solder them in place and clip off the excess wire. Surface-mount components are often installed with automated equipment. Solder them directly to your circuit board.

Surge-Suppressing Diodes
Protect sensitive electronics from surges in voltage. Also known as transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diodes, these diodes limit voltage in your circuit and divert the excess away.
Unidirectional diodes protect against voltage spikes in one direction and act as standard diodes in the other direction. Bidirectional diodes protect against voltage spikes in both directions.
Reverse breakdown voltage is the voltage at which a reversed current will break through the diodes’ internal barrier and flow backward.
Reverse standoff voltage is the maximum reverse current that diodes can block effectively. Above this voltage, current will start to flow backward.

Voltage-Regulating Diodes
Power sections of a circuit with a specific voltage. Also known as Zener diodes, these diodes are often used as a reference point in amplifiers and other voltage-sensitive circuits. When installed in reverse, they won’t conduct current until the reverse breakdown voltage is reached. After that point, they maintain the same voltage.
Reverse breakdown voltage is the voltage at which a reversed current will break through the diodes’ internal electrical barrier and flow backward.
Forward voltage drop is the amount of voltage used up while current flows across diodes.

Diodes
Keep the current in a circuit flowing in one direction. Use these diodes to manipulate signals or to protect your circuit from reverse currents, such as those created when a motor stops or slows down.
Reverse breakdown voltage is the voltage at which a reversed current will break through the diodes’ internal electrical barrier and flow backward.
Forward voltage drop is the amount of voltage used up while current flows across diodes.
Reverse recovery time is how long it takes for diodes to stop conducting current after the voltage is reversed.

Diode Assortments
Control voltage and current in circuits with a variety of diodes.
Standard diodes keep the current in a circuit flowing in one direction. Use them to manipulate signals or to protect your circuit from reverse currents, such as those created when a motor stops or slows down.
Schottky diodes have faster switching speeds than other diodes, so they’re used to channel current in a single direction in circuits that switch frequently. They’re often found in radios and data processors.
Zener diodes regulate voltage in a circuit. When installed in reverse, they won’t conduct current until a set voltage is reached. After that point, they maintain the same voltage. Because they provide a stable voltage, they are often used as a reference point in amplifiers and other voltage-sensitive circuits.
Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diodes limit voltage and divert the excess away. They protect sensitive electronics from surges in voltage.

High-Speed AC to DC Electromagnet Transformers
Suitable for high-speed automated applications, these transformers reverse the magnetic current and release your electromagnet's hold faster than other electromagnet transformers. Turn off the transformer and the magnetic current reverses automatically for release. The transformer's power output wattage should be equal to or greater than the watts of your electromagnet. All are rated NEMA 12 for protection from oil/coolant dripping. Also known as rectifiers. They cannot be sold to the regions listed due to local energy efficiency requirements.

HVAC Flame Detectors
Replace damaged flame detectors in HVAC equipment, such as furnaces and boilers, as well as some water heaters and ovens. These flame detectors work with a wide range of manufacturers since you can bend the rod and cut it to fit in your ignition system. However, you shouldn’t bend the rod without the included protective sleeve. Touching or marring the rod can damage its ability to accurately detect a flame.
