Also known as occupancy sensors, these controls have an infrared sensor that activates when it detects a change in heat. To work properly, they need an unobstructed view of your space. These light controls monitor motion in a full circle for coverage in all directions. Those that cover 7,690 sq. ft. have lenses that can be swapped out to limit where they sense. Half-circle sensing lenses are best for concentrating coverage to a certain part of a room, such as a workstation or an entrance. Narrow sensing lenses are best for the end of aisles in spaces with high ceilings like those in warehouses and factories.
