Grease Fittings
Thread these fittings into motors, bearings, engine blocks, and other machinery to create a lubrication point. They’re also known as hydraulic grease fittings.
Zinc-plated steel fittings have mild corrosion resistance. Brass fittings resist corrosion better than zinc-plated steel fittings. 303 stainless steel fittings are more corrosion resistant than brass fittings and have good chemical resistance. 316 stainless steel fittings resist corrosion and chemicals better than 303 stainless steel fittings and can be used in saltwater environments. 400 nickel fittings are the most corrosion resistant and can be used in caustic environments, such as those involving salt water, sulfuric acid, and alkalies.
Fittings with a check valve prevent grease from leaking when pressure causes backward flow. The valve stays closed when not in use to keep out dirt and other contaminants.
PTF-SAE and NPTF (Dryseal) threads are compatible with NPT threads.

Leakproof Grease Fittings
Keep thin grease from leaking out—the check valve in these fittings has a Buna-N seat that creates a tighter seal than check valves in other grease fittings. The valve stays closed when not in use to keep out dirt and other contaminants. Fittings are zinc-plated steel, which has mild corrosion resistance. They're also known as hydraulic grease fittings. They have PTF-SAE and NPTF (Dryseal) threads, which are compatible with NPT threads.

Grease Fitting Assortments
Keep a variety of grease fitting shapes, styles, and sizes on hand. These fittings are also known as hydraulic grease fittings.
Fittings with a serrated shank are for unthreaded holes. Drive them in with a hammer and grease fitting installation tool (not included). The serrated shank creates a tight grip.
Zinc-plated steel fittings have mild corrosion resistance. 303 stainless steel fittings are more corrosion resistant than steel fittings.
134-piece assortments include tools to remove worn fittings and repair threaded holes.
PTF-SAE (Dryseal) threads are compatible with NPT threads. SAE-LT threads are tapered but designed to be installed into a 1/4"-28 straight-thread UNF hole.

Safety-Vent Grease Fittings
To protect equipment from damage, the slit in the threads of these fittings acts like a breather vent, releasing any excess pressure and grease. You’ll know your fitting is properly lubricated if you see any grease come out of this slit.

Flow-Stop Grease Fittings
Prevent damage caused by over-lubrication—these fittings automatically stop grease flow when pressure is within the shut-off range. They resume flow when the pressure drops below the range. Button-Head Grease Fittings
Often used on earth movers, mining equipment, and other heavy machinery, these fittings have a T-shaped top that holds the dispensing tip in place so it won’t pop off when adding grease. They're best for machinery requiring high volumes of grease because they let more grease pass through than standard grease fittings, thanks to a larger opening. Self-Tapping Grease Fittings for Unthreaded Holes
To fit securely in unthreaded holes, these fittings cut threads as they’re installed. Use a hex wrench to install. Fittings can be driven in, but then are not pressure rated. They're zinc-plated steel for mild corrosion resistance. All have an integral check valve that prevents grease from leaking when pressure causes backward flow.
