    Platinum Foil

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Inset. Platinum. Platinum Foil.
Thin and easy to cut, use this 99.95% pure platinum foil in labs and electronics production. It won’t oxidize, won’t corrode in most environments, and has low thermal and electrical resistance. Platinum is often used to make gaskets, even in high-vacuum applications, because it’s soft enough to create a good seal when pressed between two flanges, but won’t damage the flanges so you can reuse them. It also works for high temperatures because it has a higher melting point than gold and other sealing materials.
