Slippery UHMW Polyethylene Film
- Color: Off-White
- Temperature Range: See Table
- Tensile Strength: 5,500-6,000 psi (Good)
- Impact Strength: Not Rated
- Hardness: Durometer 65D (Medium)
- For Use Outdoors: See Table
- Specifications Met: See Table
Widely used as a protective barrier against abrasion and wear, this UHMW film has a slippery surface that prevents sticking. This film is skived, so the edges may curl.
For adhesive-back film that is FDA compliant, the film meets the standard, but the adhesive does not.

Clear Moisture-Resistant Polyester Film
Widely used as packaging, this polyester film absorbs almost no moisture and resists swelling in wet environments. It is also known as PET and PETE.

Shim Stock
Cut it into custom shapes to fit your application. Sheets come flat packed.
For accurate leveling, choose materials such as steel or stainless steel, which are hard enough to resist scratching and deforming. Softer shims, like copper or aluminum, can be used as wear plates between components that rub together, preventing damage to equipment. Metal shims include a material certificate with traceable lot number. Most shims include a test report.
PTFE plastic shim stock is slippery, so it can be used to reduce friction between parts. It also has excellent chemical resistance.

Filter Paper Discs
Often used in laboratory testing, these discs are designed to capture tiny particles from fluids.
Cellulose discs are good for general purpose filtering, where exceptional strength or chemical resistance is not needed.
Porous PTFE Adhesive-Back Discs
- Color: White
- Maximum Temperature: 250° F
Stick these discs onto breather and other circular vents to guard against water and dirt without obstructing flow. Often used in the electronic and automotive industries, they have very small holes so air, gas, and vapor can still pass through. These discs are made of PTFE to wick water away. They also won’t break down from most chemicals, except alkali metal and high-temperature fluorinated agents.
IP rated except for their adhesive, all seal out dust and stand up to some submersion.

Porous PTFE Film
- Color: White
- Maximum Temperature: 500° F
- Specifications Met: UL 746C, UL 94 V-0
Shield vents on electronic and automotive equipment, such as cell phone microphones, from water, dirt, and debris without blocking them entirely. This film has tiny holes to let air, gas, and vapors pass through. Because it’s made of PTFE, it wicks away water. It also won’t react with most chemicals, though it can break down from alkali metal and high-temperature fluorinated agents. IP rated, this film stands up to dust, weather, washdowns, and even brief submersion.

UV-Resistant Corrosion-Inhibiting Heavy Duty Heat-Shrink Film
Shield shipments of metal equipment that could be exposed to the outdoors for long periods of time. This film is treated to prevent fading and degrading in the sun, while a built-in inhibitor guards the contents underneath from rain, snow, and humidity. It’s often used in place of oils and desiccants that prevent rust, so you don’t need to clean or degrease your equipment before covering it. Shrink the film with a heat gun to create a formfitting barrier that keeps out moisture and dirt.
At least six times thicker than standard heat-shrink film, you can drag and shrink this film over corners of equipment without it tearing. It’s large enough to cover forklifts, industrial compressors, or even a boat, but it’s easy enough to trim down using a utility knife. This film comes folded on a roll for efficient storage.

Heavy Duty Heat-Shrink Film
This film is thicker than standard heat-shrink film, so it's ideal for large and irregularly shaped objects. Heat it to create a form-fitting barrier and protect packages from moisture and dirt. Material is folded on the roll for compact storage.
Blue film absorbs UV rays to keep its surface warm. It’s good for outdoor storage in cold climates since it melts snow and ice.
White film reflects UV rays to keep its surface cool. It’s good for items in transit or storage.
Tape holds seams together and patches holes.
