Aluminum Quick-Connect Pipe for Compressed Air

- For Use With: Air, Coolant, Nitrogen, Oil
- Maximum Pressure: 230 psi @ 72° F
- Specifications Met: ASTM B241
- Fittings: Use Quick-Disconnect Aluminum
Build a compressed air system in half the time it would take to build a copper or steel system. Also known as Unipipe, this pipe is part of a quick-connect system. The compatible fittings connect to this pipe when you finger tighten their collar and then use a wrench for the final quarter turn. A compression ring and O-ring inside the fitting seal it onto this pipe.
Choose blue or gray pipe for easy identification. Blue pipe is often used for compressed air systems. Gray pipe is often used for vacuum systems.
Use a deburring scraper (sold separately) to smooth rough edges left behind after trimming the pipe to size.

This PTFE pipe can withstand a wider temperature range than any of our other plastic pipe for chemicals. It has the chemical resistance to stand up to acid and solvents. Also known as Schedule 80 pipe, it has thick walls for heavy duty industrial applications. The material won’t leach contaminates into the line, so this pipe is commonly used in high-purity processes, such as semiconductor and clean room applications. It has a super-smooth interior for unrestricted flow. Pipe meets ASTM D1710 specifications and testing requirements for material quality.
Warning: Never use plastic pipe fittings and pipe with compressed air or gas.
Sealants cannot be sold to Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Northern Virginia, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, or Utah due to local VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) regulations.

Cut threads in both ends of these pipes to create nipples that thread into PTFE fittings. To prevent leaks in threaded connections, apply a non-hardening, plastic-compatible sealant to the male threads. Tape or sealants with PTFE are not recommended for plastic-to-plastic threaded connections. When making a threaded connection be careful not to overtighten the threads. To prevent cracks and leaks, finger tighten the fitting, then wrench-tighten one to two turns.

High-Purity PVDF Pipe for Corrosive Chemicals
Made of PVDF that’s finished to a 12 Ra smoothness, this pipe handles some of the harshest chemicals without leaching contaminants into your line. It won’t accumulate particles and is easy to clean, thanks to its smoothness. Comparable to Kynar, this pipe handles most organic solvents that would dissolve CPVC, and chlorine or nitric acid that would weaken polypropylene. You can use it at higher temperatures than CPVC and polypropylene. This pipe meets UL 94 V-0 and Factory Mutual standards for flame retardance. It’s also FDA compliant for direct contact with food, and it meets ASTM requirements for dimensions and tolerances. Also known as SDR 21 pipe.
