Low-Pressure Galvanized Iron and Steel Threaded Pipe Fittings with Sealant
The male threads on these fittings have a sealant applied for extra leak protection. Fittings are made of galvanized iron or steel, which have fair corrosion resistance. Also known as Pressure Class 125 or 150 fittings, they are for use in low-pressure applications.

Extreme-Pressure Steel Threaded Pipe Fittings
The strongest steel fittings we offer, these can withstand extreme-pressure applications. PTFE-coated steel fittings have better corrosion resistance than galvanized and zinc-plated steel fittings.
Plugs with a 7/8" taper sit flush to the surface for a low profile.

Miniature Medium-Pressure Stainless Steel Threaded Pipe Fittings
When space is at a premium choose these compact fittings. Though small in size, they have the strength to handle medium-pressure applications. Fittings are stainless steel for very good corrosion resistance.
Metric, BSPP, and UN/UNF (SAE Straight) male threads have a gasket to protect against leaks. Made from fluoroelastomer, these gaskets resist chemicals, including benzene, butyl alcohol, and ethylene glycol. UN/UNF (SAE Straight) threads are also known as O-ring boss threads.

Plastic Pipe Fittings for Oil
Made of corrosion-resistant plastic, these fittings won’t deteriorate when used in oil applications. They also have high strength and impact resistance. Apply a non-hardening, plastic-compatible sealant to the male threads to prevent leaks. Tape or sealants with PTFE are not recommended for plastic-to-plastic threaded connections. When making a threaded connection be careful not to overtighten the threads. To prevent cracks and leaks, finger tighten the fitting, then wrench-tighten one to two turns.
