Drawbar Couplers

Also known as pintle hitches, these are used with drawbar rings to connect a trailer to your vehicle for towing. Maximum trailer weight is the total weight being towed. Vertical capacity (also known as tongue weight) represents the weight of the load on the drawbar ring or hitch ball. Use Grade 8 fasteners (included with some couplers) for mounting. Mount couplers directly to a vehicle or use a mounting plate insert to mount them to a hitch receiver. See Mounting Plate Inserts for Drawbar Couplers and Hitch Receivers.
Combination ball/eye couplers include a ball for use with hitch-ball connections.
Couplers with a vertical latch move up to open. They are the most common type. Couplers with a horizontal latch swing open sideways. Use these if there is not enough space above the coupler to open a vertical latch.
Note: Capacity is reduced 25% in off-road use.

Hitch Inserts

Use these inserts in hitch-ball connections for towing. They fit into a receiver that's attached to a vehicle. Maximum trailer weight is the total weight being towed. Vertical capacity (also known as tongue weight) represents the weight of the load on the hitch ball.
Combination ball/eyes give you the versatility of mating with a drawbar ring or hitch-ball coupler. The higher capacity is for the drawbar ring; the lower capacity is for the hitch ball.
Multi-size hitch balls provide three sizes in one. The larger hitch ball sizes have higher capacities.
Eyes and combination ball/eyes with multi-size hitch balls allow for more range of movement than ball hitches, making them good for use on uneven surfaces. Since they can also tow higher capacities than ball hitches, they’re often used to haul large items.
Use clevises as a hitch or ball mount to connect parts for towing. They can also be used with rings.
Use rings with clevises to evenly distribute pressure. They also keep tow chains and straps from slipping.

Hitch Pin Locks

Secure trailers to vehicles by locking the hitch pin into the receiver—you can't disconnect the trailer without the key. Use them to prevent someone from stealing your trailer or moving it. Built to stand up to any weather, they're great for outdoor trailers. The lock body rotates around your hitch pin, so you can easily reach the key into the cylinder to unlock. A plastic cover protects the key cylinder from water and debris, so it won’t freeze, corrode, or jam.
Style A lock from the side of your vehicle—access to the key cylinder is perpendicular to the hitch. These locks do not include a hole for a cotter pin. Made of steel, they’re stronger than stainless steel locks. Chrome plating adds corrosion resistance. The included cover is a separate piece.
Style B lock from behind your vehicle—access to the key cylinder is parallel to the hitch. Made of stainless steel, they resist corrosion better than steel locks. The included cover is connected to the lock.
Locks for 1 1/4" hitch receivers fit class I and II hitches. Locks for 2" square hitch receivers fit class III and IV hitches. Locks for 2 1/2" square hitch receivers fit class III-V hitches.
Choose keyed alike locks if you need several locks that open with the same key. Choose keyed differently locks if you need locks that each open with a different key.

Hitch-Ball Coupler Locks
Insert these locks into the hitch-ball coupler latch or socket on your trailer to prevent theft. Each lock is plated or powder-coated to stand up to weather, so you can use them on outdoor trailers without worrying about corrosion.
Style A locks block the latch lever, so no one can open the latch and connect their own vehicle without the key. These locks are a good choice when your vehicle and trailer are unsupervised, such as at refueling stops.
Style B and C locks block access to the socket, so no one can hitch your trailer without the key. These locks are a good choice when your trailer is unhitched from your vehicle, such as during drop-offs or while in storage. Style B locks are one piece and compact for easy installation and storage. Made of aluminum, they resist corrosion better than steel locks. Style C locks can also be used on ring-type hitches. Made of two hardened steel pieces, they’re heavy duty and stand up to attempts to cut them open better than aluminum locks.
Choose keyed alike locks if you need several locks that open with the same key. Choose keyed differently locks if you need locks that each open with a different key.
