Weather-Resistant Extra-Clearance Padlocks

Secure equipment with oversized hasps or thick chains outdoors. These padlocks have a shackle that's longer than typical padlocks. Made from materials that resist corrosion from rain and snow, they’ll operate smoothly even when exposed to the elements. They have a pin-tumbler key locking mechanism, which is the most difficult locking mechanism to pick. The more pins the lock has, the harder it is to force open. Choose these padlocks if you need locks that each open with a different key. All have random key numbers.
Padlocks with a dual-locking shackle prevent attempts to break them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the padlock body.
Brass-body locks resist corrosion better than steel-body locks.
Stainless steel shackles are more corrosion resistant than both hardened steel and brass shackles.
Style D padlocks have a keyhole cover that prevents rain, snow, and other outdoor elements from getting inside the key cylinder.

Weather-Resistant Extra-Clearance Keyed Alike Padlocks

Secure items with large hasps or thick chains outdoors. These padlocks have a longer shackle than typical padlocks. Use them around your facility, both indoors and out, to prevent theft and unauthorized access. All have a pin-tumbler key locking mechanism, which is the most difficult locking mechanism to pick. The more pins a lock has, the harder it is to pick.
Choose these locks if you need several locks that open with the same key. If the lock or key with the key number you want isn’t listed, order the "Other Key Numbers" and specify your desired key number.
Brass-body locks have excellent corrosion resistance, but they’re not as strong as steel-body locks.
Locks with a cover have extra protection against weather and impact. They’re a reliable choice for securing equipment, such as valves, in harsh outdoor environments. Those with a plastic cover shield the key cylinder from water and debris. The plastic won’t scrape nearby surfaces.
Hardened steel shackles are stronger than stainless steel shackles, but they don’t stand up as well to corrosion.
Locks with a dual-locking shackle prevent attempts to force them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the body.
Style C and D locks have a bumper around the body, so they won’t scratch nearby surfaces.
