Up to ten times as precise as standard electronic micrometers, this micrometer can take measurements in increments of 0.000005”. It comes with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST that states it has passed a test for accuracy.

This micrometer has a ratchet thimble with a constant-force mechanism, which stops the spindle from tightening once it contacts the surface of the measured object. This ensures repeatable measurements and prevents over-tightening. When the spindle stops tightening, the thimble will continue turning with a clicking sound. A speeder knob reduces the time it takes to open and close the micrometer.

Zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, retains the measuring position when the micrometer is turned off. A zero-set button lets you start measuring at any point. SPC data output allows for connection to a computer or data processor.

USB data cable (sold separately) connects the micrometer directly to your PC.

10-pin data cables (sold separately) connect the micrometer to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or multiplexer.

Wireless data transmitter and receiver (sold separately) allow you to transmit measurement data from the micrometer to your PC without being tethered by a cable.
