EMI Filtering IEC Connectors with Power Switch
With a built-in switch, these connectors run power to appliances, power supplies, and other electronic devices while also filtering damaging EMI (electromagnetic interference). Instead of hardwiring your devices, add these connectors and plug in a standard IEC power cord. Wire these connectors using the quick-disconnect terminals; they slide together with matching terminals on your wiring for a secure hold that's also easy to pull apart to make repairs. The terminals are on the back of the connector, so the wiring stays inside your device. For the best EMI filtering performance, choose a connector with a current rating at or slightly above your device's current requirements.
Rated IP40, these connectors prevent objects larger than a 1 mm-wd. wire from touching internal components and accidentally shocking you. With Class I shock protection, they’re insulated and have a protective ground. Some have a fuse drawer to hold a fuse, which prevents short circuits and circuit overloads from damaging your device. The fuses are sold separately.
These connectors meet UL 94 V-0, which means they self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire, and won’t spread the fire by dripping. They’re also UL and C-UL recognized components, ENEC marked, and CSA certified, so they meet stringent safety standards.
Screw-on connectors mount to housings of any thickness, as long as you can drill mounting holes into them. Snap-in connectors have tabs on the side to mount to housings without using fasteners. But, they require a specific panel thickness and precisely cut hole for secure mounting.
Connectors with an indicator light on their switch show if your device is powered on.
Shielded connectors protect against interference from nearby equipment.

EMI Filtering IEC Connectors
Bring power into electronic devices while protecting them from harmful electromagnetic interference (EMI). All of these connectors are compatible with standard IEC power cords. Often used to convey power from wall outlets, there’s no need to wire your devices to an external power source. Instead, wire these connectors into your device with the terminals on the back of each connector. When selecting a connector, make sure the current is at or slightly above the requirements of your device for the best EMI filtering performance.
All of these connectors meet U.S. and international standards for safety. They also meet UL 94 V-0, which means they self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire, and won’t spread the fire by dripping. Rated IP40, these connectors prevent objects larger than 1 mm, such as wire, from making contact with a live circuit and shocking you. They also include shock protection. Class I shock protection means they're insulated and have a protective ground to prevent electrical shocks.
Screw-on connectors mount to devices with any panel thickness, as long as you can drill mounting holes into the device. Snap-in connectors mount to devices with snap-in tabs—no fasteners needed—but require a specific panel thickness and a precisely cut hole for secure mounting.
Quick-disconnect terminal wire connections are faster to wire than tab terminal connections. The terminals slide together with the quick-disconnect terminals on your wiring and are easily disconnected by hand, but still provide a strong hold.

Power electronics in damp environments while protecting them from electromagnetic interference. The filter on these connectors reduces electromagnetic interference, which could damage components and cause your electronics to behave erratically. These connectors pair with industry standard cords often found on electronic devices. Wire them using the quick-disconnect terminals, which slide together with matching terminals on your device for a secure fit that can still be pulled apart by hand and removed for repairs. The terminals are on the back of the connector, so the wiring stays inside your device.
Class I shock protection means these connectors have insulation and a protective ground. They meet UL 94 V-0, so they self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread the fire by dripping. They’re also UL and C-UL recognized components, CE and ENEC marked—they meet U.S., Canadian, and European safety standards. They are rated IP65 for protection from dust and rinsing.
When selecting a connector, make sure the current is at or slightly above the requirements of your device for the best EMI filtering performance. These connectors require fuses (sold separately) to prevent short circuits and circuit overloads from damaging your devices.

Micro M12 Screw-Together Connectors
Because they tightly thread to M12 connections, these connectors won’t let contaminants in or come loose from vibration in rugged industrial environments and automated systems as they send power and signal or just power to your equipment. Their poles and keyways adhere to standard coding layouts, reducing the chance you’ll mismatch connectors.
A- and C-coded connectors send both power and signal, while K-, L-, S-, and T-coded connectors only send power. Choose A-coded connectors for AC and DC sensors, actuators, motors, light curtains, and other devices. They’re often used to connect equipment to IO Link controllers and within Profibus, DeviceNet, and other fieldbus systems.
Receptacles thread into panels and walls, making them best for stationary or permanent installations such as control panels. IP67 and IP68 rated connectors can withstand brief submersion. Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP and NEMA ratings when not in use.
Note: Sockets and female receptacles may have extra holes on their face that are not used.

Micro M12 Screw-Together Ethernet Connectors
Unlike traditional RJ45 connectors found in data centers, these connectors stand up to rugged industrial environments since they tightly thread to devices with M12 connections, sealing out contaminants and resisting shaking loose from vibration. Use them to transfer high-speed data between sensors, switches, computers, IO modules, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other equipment. They can also power devices as they send data, so you don’t need a separate power cord. But, the device must be Power over Ethernet (PoE) compatible. These connectors are often used with EtherNet/IP, Profinet, and EtherCAT systems. Since they’re shielded, they block signal interference from nearby devices, maintaining their speed and data integrity. Poles and keyways on the face adhere to standard coding layouts to reduce the chance you’ll mismatch connections.
When choosing an Ethernet connector, make sure you match or exceed your network’s category industry designation. These connectors are backward compatible—for example, a Category 6 connector will work in a Category 5 network, but it’ll only run at the Category 5 speed.
A-coded and X-coded connectors send data faster than D-coded connectors, so they’re best for robotics and other systems that run multi-step programs.
Receptacles thread into a panel or wall, making them best for permanent installations such as control panels or hardwiring into equipment.
IP rated connectors keep out dust and can be used in wet areas when mated or capped. IP67 connectors can be submerged temporarily.
Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP ratings when not in use.
