IEC Connectors
Pair these connectors with standard IEC power cords to bring power into or out of your electronic devices. Often used to convey power from wall outlets, there’s no need to wire your devices to an external power source. Instead, wire these connectors into your device with the terminals on the back of each connector. Most meet U.S. or international standards for safety.
Plugs mate with female receptacles.
Sockets mate with male receptacles.
Receptacles are often installed in electrical devices. Most also include shock protection. Class I shock protection means they're insulated and have a protective ground to prevent electrical shocks. Male receptacles are commonly used to bring power into an electronic device. Some accept a fuse to prevent short circuits and circuit overloads from damaging your devices. The fuses are sold separately. Female receptacles are frequently used to bring power out of one electronic device and into another. C19 receptacles are often called J outlets.
Screw-on connectors mount to devices with any panel thickness, as long as you can drill mounting holes into the device. Snap-in connectors mount to devices with snap-in tabs—no fasteners needed—but require a specific panel thickness and a precisely cut hole for secure mounting. Inline connectors mount to male and female cord ends.
Tab terminal wire connections are more secure than screw and quick-disconnect terminal connections. Quick-disconnect terminal wire connections are faster to wire than screw and tab terminal connections. The terminals slide together with the quick-disconnect terminals on your wiring and are easily disconnected by hand, but still provide a strong hold.
IP-rated connectors meet standards for protecting you from making contact with a live circuit. The larger the first digit, the smaller the object it protects against. An IP20 rating means fingers and other objects larger than 12.5 mm can't get in. An IP30 rating means screwdrivers and other objects larger than 2.5 mm won't get in. And an IP40 rating means wire and other objects larger than 1 mm won't get in.
Connectors with a UL 94 rating have passed one of UL's flame tests. UL 94 V-0 means they self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread flames from dripping.

IEC Connectors with Power Switch
Switch your device on and off without needing a separate switch. These connectors work with industry standard cords often found on power supplies, appliances, and other electronic devices. Wire these connectors using the quick-disconnect terminals. They slide together with mating terminals for a secure hold that's also easy to pull apart to make repairs. The terminals are on the back of the connector, so the wiring stays inside your device.

EMI Filtering IEC Connectors with Power Switch
With a built-in switch, these connectors run power to appliances, power supplies, and other electronic devices while also filtering damaging EMI (electromagnetic interference). Instead of hardwiring your devices, add these connectors and plug in a standard IEC power cord. For the best EMI filtering performance, choose a connector with a current rating at or slightly above your device's current requirements.

Because they tightly thread to M12 connections, these connectors won’t let contaminants in or come loose from vibration in rugged industrial environments and automated systems as they send power and signal or just power to your equipment. Their poles and keyways adhere to standard coding layouts, reducing the chance you’ll mismatch connectors.
A- and C-coded connectors send both power and signal, while K-, L-, S-, and T-coded connectors only send power. K- and L-coded connectors have a ground pole that sticks out longer than the rest of their poles. It’s the first to connect and last to disconnect, which helps prevent equipment damage in case of voltage spikes or a broken connection. These connectors also have a high current rating. Use L-coded connectors with DC devices and to power IO Link modules.
Receptacles thread into panels and walls, making them best for stationary or permanent installations such as control panels.
Connectors with polyurethane or TPE insulation resist chemicals and UV rays. Because they stand up to bending, they’re good for jobs with continuous motion. IP65 connectors can be lightly rinsed. IP67 and IP68 rated connectors can withstand brief submersion. Add caps to protect connectors and maintain their IP and NEMA ratings when not in use.

Quick-Connect Screw-Together Power Connectors
With thick threads similar to a light bulb, these connectors take only a few turns to lock into place for a secure connection in washdown and high-vibration areas. Detach them just as quickly for frequent maintenance. They’re IP rated when mated, which means they seal out dust as well as water from hoses and even brief submersion. Though they’re small to save space, they carry higher currents than other mini connectors to power cameras, machine tools, HVAC equipment, and I/O modules. Their housing stands up to UV rays, so you can install them outdoors.
Attach these connectors to mating quick-connect cords.
Connectors with screw terminals can be quickly installed on cable with a screwdriver. They’re also known as field installable connectors.
Connectors with wire leads are known as TC-ER, which means they meet crush and impact requirements for exposed cable in cable carriers.
Add caps to connectors that aren’t in use to keep out dust and debris.
