Wall-Mount Motion-Sensing Light Controls
Light controls fit standard wall plates. Also known as occupancy sensors, they turn lights on when movement is detected and off when an area is unoccupied. The infrared sensors detect changes in heat sources and require a direct view of the occupants. All have a time delay to turn lights off after a set time.

Multi-Way Wall-Mount Motion-Sensing Light Controls
Control lights on a single circuit from more than one motion-sensing switch. Also known as occupancy sensors, these controls turn lights on when movement is detected and off when an area is unoccupied. The infrared sensors detect changes in heat sources and require a direct view of the occupants. Use up to four controls on the same circuit to detect motion in large rooms. All have a time delay to turn lights off after a set time.

Ceiling-Mount Motion-Sensing Light Controls
Also known as occupancy sensors, these controls turn lights on when movement is detected and off when an area is unoccupied. All have a time delay to turn lights off after a set time.
Infrared sensors detect moving heat sources and require a direct view of the occupants.
Infrared/ultrasonic sensors minimize false activation by detecting changes in heat sources and motion. They can be set so that only one or both detection methods are required to activate and hold lights on.
Ultrasonic sensors detect movement and don’t require a direct view of the occupants.

Wall/Ceiling-Mount Motion-Sensing Light Controls
Also known as occupancy sensors, these controls turn lights on when movement is detected and off when an area is unoccupied. The infrared/ultrasonic sensors minimize false activation by detecting heat and motion. They can be set so that only one or both detection methods are required to activate and hold lights on. All have a time delay to turn lights off after a set time. The mounting bracket swivels 90° so that the control can be mounted on a wall or ceiling.
Power controllers (sold separately) are required to switch a 120- or 277-volt AC lighting circuit. They have a relay that switches a maximum 20 amp load.

Motion-Sensing Modules for Development Boards
By detecting body heat, these modules sense when people are moving. Connect them to your development board to integrate them into alarm systems, automated lighting, and other applications.
Modules with an adjustable infrared motion sensor let you expand or lower the sensing distance. To connect them to a device, solder wires or headers to them.
Modules with a fixed infrared motion and thermal sensor can detect if a person is moving or even just present within the sensing distance. That means you could use them to automate lighting in an office where workers are sitting still. To connect them to your device, solder on wires or headers. For a solderless connection, use a Qwiic cord.
